If I could leave a 0 I would. AVOID Warranty Product at all costs! My 80-year-old grandad bought a car through CarSupermarket 2 months ago with the extended warranty which comes into effect in Feb 2023. He bought the car online and was delivered to his door therefore he didn't see the car prior to it arriving. He doesn't get out too often therefore it took him some time to realise that the car was not suitable for him and my nan due to her mobility and needing a wheelchair (the car is just too small). He has now found a new car and has rung multiple times to get a refund on the extended warranty to be told it is not them who deal with this and it is AutoProtect themselves. After both of us calling AutoProtect and CarSupermarket multiple times and being passed pillar to post they have refused the refund. The extended warranty was £550 and it states in the terms and conditions you have 30 days to cancel after the start date (the start date is not until Feb 2023) so surely we should be entitled to a full refund. After speaking to AutoProtect they have said it lies in the hands of CarSupermarket and I am now waiting for a call back to sort this out. Rest assured if we do not get a full refund I will be taking this further to a Finance Ombudsman and Trading Standards. I work in a car supermarket myself and if customers have asked for refunds on products it has always been actioned. I do believe he has been missold the warranty as they state that the car has a manufacturer warranty until Jan 2023, I have looked at the service sheets and found that the first service has been done by Mercedes in line with the manufacturer's warranty however the second service falls 6 months outside of this and Mercedes have confirmed the existing manufacturer's warranty is null and void leaving my grandad exposed to any mechanical issues.
The manager and sales "team" were all passing the buck between each other always passing it over to each other with one person not taking ownership of the exchange. I took a car to exchange on the new to me car which had a full service history and was immaculate (bar as we discovered a broken shock absorber) and was told word of mouth that the repairs would be £500 and we wouldn't be able to buy the new car unless we paid it. We were goaded into the agreement and were then not allowed to test drive the car we had purchased as there wasn't much fuel and they wouldn't give us trade plates to test it on the road. After driving 2 minutes on the little estate we just wanted to get home. So went back to the office to sign the vehicle over, where we discovered the manager who handled the exhange had not entered the amount from the settlement agreement correctly, they then tried to tell me its my fault and I needed to pay them the £300 difference. I should have walked away here. But no, after being there bickering for 3 hours (including where they test drove my old car to a garage). They then made a "gesture" and wrote it off. On the drive home we noticed a terrible rocking in the steering rack when breaking and took it to bmw for a health check and egr recall check. The car was not road worthy as two of the disk brakes were warped and pitted and the engine needs alot of work. We reported this to yourcarsupermarket as soon as possible and was constantly told the old car has issues. I finally managed to get them to agree to repair the car 70 miles away from where I live back near them, after rejecting the very kind offer of £200 and we wouldnt owe the other £300 to get the £1600+ worth of work done. So booked the day off work to go get it repaired. Apon arriving at the garage to repair my "new" car, I saw my old car was being repaired and the garage. I spoke to the owner for a little and he informed me that the work was only £135 pounds not £500. This shook me as why would they then need the extra £365. The mechanic then told me he can't repair the car as he doesn't have the parts and told yourcarsupermarket that they needed to order them from dealership. He could only repair the brakes. So I left the car and went to yourcarsupermarket to complain about all these issues. I was brushed off and told the manager will be in you have to speak to the manager. So we went to wait for the brakes to be fixed. Just before collecting the old car I was informed by my finance company that the old car had been taken off the website and to speak to them urgently. So I collected the car and went to yourcarsupermarket again. I was told the manager would be here soon. We waited for 2 hours for the manager to come in. We were then spoken at and told he has bills to pay, you agreed to the £500 and that the total repairs spent on the old car are none of my business. We have to pay. He also wouldn't give us a date on repair of this vehicle and was rude and obnoxious. Just told us we would again have to bring it up or they would collect but no date given. I went home and spoke to the finance company and informed them of all of this. I decided enough was enough and told the finance company I wanted to reject the vehicle as they have not made good on their one opportunity to repair, and the coercive behaviours of the manager and sales "team" have put us off with dealing with them atall. They accepted and told me to inform yourcarsupermarket. The emails between myself and them have been far from agreeable with them adamant they still want to repair the car. But they have had their chance and shown their nature. They are now waiting for the legal team to handle this. Trading standards and the financial ombudsman have been made aware of this all and are investigating yourcarsupermarket and their behaviours. Do not deal with them, they are manipulative con artist that will happily bend you over a barrel to get more money out of you.

I have had nothing but issues since purchasing my car from your car supermarket in October, every issue I have seems to conveniently not be covered by the warranty and I have to quote the consumer rights act 2015 to them every time before I get anything resolved

Terrible, got a car from them and they tried to fix it twice without luck, they gave me money to fix it myself .. . second issue, I gave them the car with the clutch to replace and it came back with exhaust fumes in the cabin and the start-stop non-working. now I have to pay to take down the gearbox down again as i gave up waiting for them after 6 months of excuses . Just look at the review bellow me, it's identical, same working ethics every time, YOUR ARE NEXT !
YCS from Your Car Supermarket in response to TERRIBLE, Look at the review bellow me,
Dear Cristian, We hope you’re well. We are sorry you feel this way about your experience with ourselves. We take customer satisfaction very seriously here at Your Car Supermarket. When you purchased the car we were operating under very strict guidelines from the government in relation to Covid-19, which unfortunately meant you were unable to test drive the car on the road. This was explained at the time to yourself. We understand we had your car in for some work during the lockdown period of Covid-19 for a clutch replacement. This was done as a good will gesture, as it wouldn’t be covered under the warranty you took out, due to it being a wear and tear item. We believe this was done in a timely manner with as little disruption to you as possible. In relation to the Idrive button issue, we did endeavour to get this resolved however you did opt for a cash alternative as you knew someone who could complete it for you. Unfortunately the start stop button on your car stopped working once you had the vehicle back. We immediately spoke to the garage that replaced your clutch and they assured us this wouldn’t have been done during the replacement. However we agreed with the garage to have them look into the issue for you when they reopened. Unfortunately when the garage was able to take your car back in to investigate and repair the issue we didn’t have a courtesy car available. We did explain this and we were willing to help get the issue rectified for yourself. Unfortunately you declined the offer and insisted you would get the issue rectified yourself. Many thanks, YCS Team.
So bought an Audi A6 from these guys, there were a few issues with the car but that was commensurate with the age of the vehicle ( damaged internal console) and the rear tyres were on their legal limit. I’d said I’d like the car and would want these issues sorted before I took ownership of the vehicle. Jack who I was dealing with said the car would be ready within a week and we arranged for me to collect the car the following week. Communication was exceptionally poor resulting in myself needing to chase after them. I received a call from Martin another employee on the collection due date which he stated “ they were still awaiting the part console part from Audi however they had a different colour part in would I want that” I said I’d wait, no point rushing better that it’s right. A week later and again myself chasing them up for updates I arranged to collect the car at 13.30 on the Friday. I live about 70 miles away and half way up I received a call from Martin could I come a 15.00, my response was no as we had our children in child care needed to collect the car and return to collect them. When we arrived at Your car supermarket the car was still in bits getting the part changed, I checked the rear tyres they hadn’t been changed either. Martin stated that it would still be about an hour before it was ready. By this stage I was becoming a little weary, I’d been stung before by dodgy car garages previously but everyone has bad days. I paid for the car via credit card as that gives me the insurance on the purchase. We were going through the paperwork and I noticed the car had run out of MOT however it had been extended due to COVID-19. I said this was not acceptable I would take the car because we really did need to get back however being a reasonable person I would get the car MOT’d but wanted a written assurance from them that any costs from parts and labour due to a MOT failure they would cover the cost. This was not forth coming so I decided to leave with no car. I received a call from martin a minute later after I’d left stating that he would agree to that. I started to drive out of the garage and noticed the centre console had been replaced by another damaged part or had been damaged whilst being replaced. There were 2 warning signs highlighted on the dash board. Those were warning signs to me, it was 1 step too far. I turned around to Martin gave him the keys said I didn’t want the car and wanted my money back. He said he couldn’t do that and that the money would have to be deposited into my bank via a bank transfer 3 days later I’m still awaiting the money. I asked to speak to the general manager/owner and have called/chased them to which the owner has dismissed me till Monday, so still awaiting a call and my money back to purchase a car we desperately need. DO NOT PURCHASE from these cowboys what a bunch of dismissive amateurs.

YCS from Your Car Supermarket in response to AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!
This review does not correspond to any car we have sold or any customer in this name. This review is either to slander our business or meant for a another company certainly not ours.
had a car of your car supermarket and i can honestly say i couldnt fault them in anyway excellent service and excellent car throughout took it for nice long test drive they even left me to it with no pressure which i thought very trusting will definetly be back keep the good guys thanks to all tommy
Your Car Supermarket can talk the talk but can’t walk the walk. I Purchased a Bmw off this company, when I test drove it I was only able to drive round the factory estate meaning I was unable to get up to any speed in the car. I did pick up the fact that the air con was not working and that the service was not up to date, they told me that they would sort the air con and service as I had requested this before I purchased it. I was due to collect the car a week later, when I arrived Maz was very friendly saying that a full service and the air con had been regassed even showing me the STAMP in the service book. I was happy at this but before I left he made me leave a 5 star rating. When I left the premises and was able to get up to speed, it became apparent that the front brake discs were warped causing the steering wheel to shake, I then turned on the air con which was blowing hot air, I phoned Maz about these issues and I was told the brakes were probably doing this as it had been stood for a while and to run it a bit , he assured me the air con had been done. I asked him if I took it to another company who regassed cars who I had, had previous cars regassed with and they found it hadn’t been regassed would he reimburse me the money, he said yes without any hesitation indicating to me that he knew the air con hadn’t been done. I did end up getting it regassed as it was totally empty and no leaks were detected, this they did reimburse me for. I became suspicious that the service may have not been done either, I therefore got it checked by a friend who is a mechanic who confirmed the service was not done. I returned the car telling them to get it sorted as well as the brakes and asked why the STAMP was put in the service book to be told that was because it had been serviced when it clearly hadn’t meaning they are falsifying important documentation. A week later after numerous phone calls by myselfand excuses from them, also been called a gangster for wanting work done which was supposed to be done from the start I had the car back with the brakes done but the service still hadn’t been with low oil and still dirty filters. I phoned to complain again and was told the gaffer would phone me back the next day but know nearly a week later am still waiting. They are totally unreliable and useless please think twice before purchasing a car from this company. Totally washing my hands of them and getting my mate the mechanic to actually service the car.
YCS from Your Car Supermarket in response to They talk the talk but...
Further to your edited review. We did indeed refund your re~gas costs immediately & replaced the front brake discs & pads as you demanded despite our repairing garage declaring them acceptable. Your car was serviced as agreed prior to collection. We have computerised invoices for all parts fitted along with the service invoice too. You complained that the air filter hadn't been changed referring to a box at the rear of the engine bay. This was actually a pollen filter & NOT the air filter. However we replaced the 2 pollen filters as a gesture of goodwill also. We therefore are a little disappointed with this revised review & inaccurate statements.
