Andrew Payne in response to Stay well away !!!
Did you manage to get this sorted or have you resorted to legal procedures?
Just picked up my bmw from these guys today. I was very happy with the level of service , fantastic and honest bunch of lads. Big thanks to Richard and his colleague.
Had the pleasure in dealing with these guys especially James within a week of contact to picking up my new car the transaction was seem less highly recommended would definitely buy from them again if I can part with the great Porsche Turbo I purchased from them. Thanks again

Also the purchase of the vehicle, and the part exchange of my vehicle was dealt with really quickly, and I came away very happy knowing I will definitely be buying from A100 in the future. Thank you.

I was incredibly apprehensive about purchasing an expensive vehicle (2020 Range Rover Sport HST) from anyone other an official dealer but I needn’t have been as the service from Auto100 was truly amazing. Head and shoulders above my experiences with official dealers, where the service is cursory and where at best you are processed. I wasn’t brave enough to buy outright on the strength of what I saw on their website but they were happy to take a fully refundable deposit and for me to visit at an agreed hour to see and inspect. This all went like clockwork and the vehicle was waiting for me. Absolutely pristine and exactly as portrayed and described. They had already given me what I thought was a decent price for my trade-in and following a brief inspection they were true to their promise. Within an hour and having completed the formalities……...finance, road tax and insurance, I was on my way in my sparkling new (pre-owned but new to me) vehicle. Don’t expect to be greeted by a grandiose showroom as they operate from a very in keeping office, with the cars stored and displayed in an adjacent warehouse, which included some of the finest exotica I have ever seen in one place. All prepared to very exacting standards. Mine to be was standing apart ready for inspection. The service I received was exemplary from a team who are truly passionate and committed to what they do. A huge thanks to Darren, Tom and Adam for making it happen and for looking after my wife and I so splendidly. I would definitely buy from Auto100 again and I am already recommending them to friends.

IF YOU DON'T READ ANY OTHER REVIEW - READ THIS ONE. It gets better and better. Do not purchase a vehicle here. I was purchasing a £45,000 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quatrifoglio, the £500 deposit was paid and all was going smooth (although very slowly and almost impossible to get a callback or chat once they'd taken my deposit and 'secured' me) I scheduled collection for Wednesday and an independent mechanic to review the vehicle prior to my arrival the previous Friday. They were initially hesitant to allow this, and now I know why. See the attached images. The dealer did not disclose any damage to the vehicle. They did not notice it had slashed tyres, cracked tread from where it'd been sitting for months, engine management errors on many of the components and - most obvious of all - a spidering, cracked windscreen. No trouble I thought - just ask the dealer to resolve the issues before collection and all will be well. No. No it won't be. Don't be as naive as me in thinking that this dealership operates in a similar fashion to any other. Firstly Richard, the "consultant" I was dealing with, did not want to replace any of the tires. They'd said that their mechanics (who, remember, work for them and not you) have given the vehicle a green light. The windscreen crack is minor and the tread is absolutely fine - let's ignore that big gash in the sidewall shall we? Let's just say I ignore the fact that this wasn't disclosed anywhere in the tens of phone-calls prior to paying the deposit where I'd ask "any damage?" - or let's just also ignore that this would fail an MOT... any person who drives with a shred of common sense would know that cracks, especially ones that have begun to spider in laminated glass, will grow over time as the car is driven. This is exaggerated if the vehicle is hard-sprung and the crack will further grow as it drives up and over bumpy surfaces; eventually it will grow to the full length or width of the windscreen and become illegal. They did not want to pay to correct this and instead wanted to only contribute - asking me to pay the majority of the cost to fix issues with a car that isn't even mine yet. They offered to replace all of the tires after twisting their arm countless times and essentially getting down to "either it gets fixed, or I walk away" because they did not comprehend in the slightest why I wouldn't want to drive a 510 HP rear-wheel drive vehicle with slashes in the sidewall and cracking tread. This alone would fail any MOT, let alone the immediate risk of a blowout at serious speeds! It’s absolute insanity that I had to go through an independent mechanic to have a cracked windscreen, slashed tyre wall and cracked tires disclosed to me. These are absolute basic checks for any car owner, let alone their “trained mechanics”. They were totally and fully expecting me to turn up on collection day, see the damage, and be A-OK with this. I can't fathom the logic here. BUT this gets better... I still have a £500 deposit on the vehicle. A legally binding contract that states to remove it from sale. So, what have Auto100 done? They've relisted the car without even telling me, and for £1000 more than I was originally paying. I found out only by a friend sending me a link to the advert. They'd done this under my nose, despite a legally binding contract which I have records of. It’s mind-numbing to me that they'd rather re-list a customer-reserved vehicle for another few months (it’s already been there quite some time) to squeeze out £1000 more, rather than sell a road-worthy and legal vehicle as they responsibly should in the first place, and it speaks volumes to their business practices. Even if a new customer does come along and show interest in the relisted vehicle, both parties are going to have to inevitably deal with the same headache that I did because, once again, the vehicle has been mis-advertised as having no damage and the customer is absolute bound to spot these things on pickup. Auto100 are counting on YOUR stupidity. Don't fall for it. If you absolutely must buy a car here, GO WITH AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. It's £300 with the RAC, or £120 with ClickMechanic, and will potentially save you a LOT of headaches. Auto100 - sell your customers safe vehicles (as your website boldly claims) instead of asking them to buy an unsafe one and spend hundreds repairing it to a road-legal standard. You advertise as an “independent prestigious car reseller” selling vehicles that should be ready to go. Your customers are not buying a spares and repairs vehicle on eBay, they're buying prestigious vehicles.
