Came with no break lights, no gps(which they said they would fix and still haven’t) and tracking out two slow punctures. Took it back to them they said it was fine because they refilled them now having spend £200 to get their issue sorted. Don’t buy a car from here unless you want some issues

Hi Riley. Sorry you felt the need to leave us such a poor review. To clarify, a week after you bought the car you had been to a garage to have a bulb changed. When you then came to us with your brake lights stuck on it was immediately evident that someone had fitted the incorrect bulb. Though this was not our doing we had this rectified at our cost. At this time you mentioned your tyre pressure light was on so we corrected the pressures and reset the light. Around 6 weeks later you rang (day after Boxing Day) to demand £200 as a garage had told you that the car required 2 new tyres (despite them passing an mot not long before). We are not sure who this garage is and it must have been during this call that you decided to leave us negative reviews on 3 different platforms. The way you have spoke with our members of staff on different occasions was very aggressive (although on the one occasion you did apologise for this). We always do our best for our customers, sorry if you feel you had a bad experience.

Recommended to come here from a few of my friends who have been coming here for their cars for a few years. Glad I did as the service has been great. Had a very minor issue with a tyre pressure valve 3 months after purchasing and they changed it with no questions asked. I've purchased new cars and not been looked after this well.

When first brought this car a few weeks in issues had began. Exhaust leaking, headlight leaking, heated mirrors not working. Rang the dealership who were happy to deal with the issues. Was first given a courtesy car which did not have working headlights. When taking it back was told by Adam “do you want the car or not” to which is replied no as this was not road legal. Throughout the process of them fixing these issues all seemed fine. Told I would get a new headlight, exuast would be fixed and mirror replaced. When collecting the car I could see there was another Ford Focus on the forecourt with parts taken of matching the ones I was told would be replaced brand new. Drove home to find they had not put my working bulbs in the second hand light that they had replaced. When ringing the dealership they told me to come back and they would sort it. After the 2nd trip back there I got home to find they still hadn’t done this correctly. As the weather got colder I noticed the new mirror they had said they had replaced was not working. I take it they had replaced this mirror with a second hand one from the car that was on the pitch. When I rang them they was happy to look at this again along with a further issues of a tyre noise. When discussing these issues with Gary he said it’s a uneven tyre it’s fine untill I replace it. Weeks down the line even further issues the car was absolutely flooded with water from a leak in the car. Mould behind the back seats. I had taken this back in again for them to look at. Whilst at there approved garage I had requested that the brakes that were squealing very loudly and the tyre was looked at. When dealing with with the repair garage they told me Gary was very reluctant to change the tyre and that he would agree to have the breaks sanded down. When picking the vehicle up it was told the leak was coming through the rear break light and has been sorted but was still left with flooded carpets and a mouldy back seat. Days had passed and the issue was still there. I had took it on myself to speak to a freind who worked at a Ford garage who straight away knew what the very common issues was. Eventually this was fixed by GP car sales and when I got the car back they had said they had removed all the water and cleaned the seats. When I got the car back home suprise suprise they had not done what they said. Carpets were still soaking to which Gary told me they would dry out. It took me a weekend of removing carpets and removing the back seat to get rid of the mildew and heaps of water that they apparently had removed. Although GP car sales are happy to resolve the issues it seems they try to do them as cheap as possible and will try bodge these things up till the warranty is up. After spending £4200 on a car I would not expect 6 months down the line a car to have so many issues. I’m no having to pay for a timing belt and water pump change and looking at a whole new exhaust system due to it being rotten underneath. Not only that brake pads and discs will need replacing. But as Gary says “ cars have wear and tear”. I see a lot of people have had a good experience with this company but I must of been the unlucky one.

I brought a volvo from this garage and had great service and nothing seemed to much trouble. They even had the cambelt changed has I was worried about it although it probably didn't need doing. Joe and Adam we're really helpful. I'd most definitely recommend this garage and will use in the future when looking for a new car 😀

I was rather nervous in the current climate purchasing a new car. I’ve never had to go through the experience alone before. After finding a car online and this led me to GP Car Sales. The staff were ever so helpful, they really took the time and effort to ensure it was what I wanted and would suit my needs. Every question was answered and being a complete novice when it comes to cars m, it really put me at ease. I would highly recommend this garage.
