I live in the Isle of Man, and travel to Lancaster for business. I remember seeing motortrust while driving in a taxi once so I looked up large car dealers in Lancaster and of course appeared Motortrust. I needed a quick turnaround as I had to get back to the island and of course they did a quick turnaround for me, it was great. I dealt with Connor, everything went well he was a pleasure to do a deal with. Everything has been great with the Golf I got, had no issues. For my first time using Motortrust it hasn't put me off considering them again in the future. Thank you for the quick turnaround.

I was looking for a car because my Volvo got written off one night while parked up. So I needed a car and had a look round a few garages but remembered my friend got one of those Ford trucks from Motor trust, so I popped down for a quick look. They were just about to put the Mercedes into the back and thought it looked quite nice. I want to say Geoff but not sure, was no probs he were very professional with no pressure to buy the car, they didn't force it down my throat like some of them do.

We've recently had a child and were in need for a bigger car, Connor helped us from start to finish he was absolutely spot on, we said we wanted a decent sized family car with enough boot space for a pram and shopping. We had already looked at Ford Kuga's and Hyundai Tucsons but Connor showed up a few different cars which he thought we'd like. That was beneficial as we didn't go for any of those two cars, he showed us this Mazda CX5 which is running well. We are fairly local and were recommended by someone at work, it paid off the service and staff was brilliant.

The dealer is literally down road which is definitely nice and handy for me. When I arrived the service was brilliant, they took my on a test drive round block and how showed me how everything worked with the Golf. My finance was sorted fast enough, no problems... Cracking on with a 5

Before visiting Motortrust I had a brief look online to see the star rating, this was important as they definitely aren't local to me, its about a 2 hour drive but I'm glad to say that they made me feel welcome with good customer service and a friendly atmosphere. We took the MX5 out on a test drive the team showed me all the quirks and features on the car, and while there was a little issue with the instrument cluster the aftersales did sort it all very very quickly. I then collected the car and it was a very nice drive back in my MX5. 5 stars.

Was okay, seemed really good until I picked the car up. My engine light came on within 6 days and they didn't pay my settlement figure. When I rang the person I was originally dealing with had left the company, so had I not rang, it wouldn't have been done. Caused me to be behind on other payments as I was paying for two cars at once

The Fiesta's a nice little car and it's been fine since we bought it. The only small issue was that we couldn't tax it with the document provided initially, so we had to wait for the correct one to come through the post - I'm over it now though ha! Nathan at Motortrust's Lancaster branch was great! He took a deposit over the phone, I paid for it there and then when I saw it and they actually had it delivered to me. I work away during the week but Nathan was good enough to arrange a time when the missus was off work which was spot on. I've given him a 4.5 out of 5 as it would've been nice to have had a bit of petrol in it!

We bought a Nissan Qashqai from the here and it's all been very positive. It’s mainly used by my daughter who drives it regularly on longer motorway journeys back and forth to Carlisle. I told her it was time to upgrade her little Peugeot 207 with doing so many miles and she’s been happy with how the Qashqai's been running - I'm just there to make sure there's plenty of petrol in it haha! Mechanically it pulls well and it's been reliable so far. There's a couple of knocks and rattles, but what do you expect with a car from 2014? Plus it's nothing that can’t be checked out. The team at the garage were absolutely brilliant to deal with. Communication was great, we got a good deal and the turnaround was quick. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful. We were happy with the service we received and had no complaints about how everything was handled. Based on our experience, we’d happily recommend Motortrust Lancaster to anyone else looking for a similar experience. Thanks from happy customers!

I've still not had chance to get my car booked in to get the reversing sensors reactivated and the rear window defroster sorted. To be fair I've not even had time to contact Motortrust's Lancaster branch about it yet as it's been a bit busy. The guys at the dealership were all good though and their turnaround times were all good too, but I'm going with 4.5* just to be awkward haha!

My VW Golf's been running fine but I did have some problems with Motortrust at the beginning. Initially I'd noticed there were scratches on the car which they said they'd rectify, but when I went to collect the car I noticed they'd only sorted some of them, not all of them. We went back and forth a few times on that, plus a slow puncture etc. The car itself is absolutely fine, but it was less than ideal having to go backwards and forwards repeatedly. Luckily the dealership's only 15mins away from me, and the proximity's the reason I chose them in the first place so I tried my best to be patient as I really liked the car.
