Surely before putting down a deposit you would have weighed up if this was the right decision yourself? It’s unfair to slate a company if you didn’t ask this before you paid. I had the opposite experience.

Yes why put a deposit down, deposits are not usually refunded or that defeats the object of having a deposit

I didn't have a problem at all with this company... I took the opportunity to leave a deposit on a car which I had been looking for for 18 months.. Then decided against it, messed them about a bit, but still go my deposit back.. Went for the car the second time, they took my word that I was coming to purchase the car without a deposit and saved it for me.... Not only that, but I had Absolutely fab service ~ super valeted, big bow on bonnet ~ I love my car till today and I was still thanking my salesman 2 months later😁👍🍾🙌👌
Don't slate a company, its not fair to judge, when you've not kept your word on something.

Yes this dealer is not honest and they're so pushy to get your deposit (without mentioning it is not-refundable), regardless that on their Facebook page it says it's refundable!

I’ve recently purchased a car from here and I cannot thank Paul enough for his help in the process . Even with the current state we are in Paul was unbelievably helpful and made the process extremely smooth and very professional . I can say I’m a woman with not much clue on purchasing cars, insurance , tax etc and Paul couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you x

Spent a couple of hours negotiating a HP deal for a car that my wife and I liked. We needed some more time to to see other garages and think over our options so decided to reserve the car at HPL with a 'refundable' £100 deposit. We decided to buy a car from elsewhere in the end and have since contacted HPL motors for our refund but to no avail. Avoid at all costs.

I went to hpl motors looking for a new car was assisted by Jordan Dodd who was great help he helped me find my perfect car he was very helpful and had great customer service skills I would highly recommend Jordan and I couldn’t thank him enough. I’m one happy customer so thanks again

i went to HPL Motors used car supermarket as my wife bought a car from them not long ago, From the start the salesman, Paul Heaven, was friendly and helpful and talked me through the process. At no point did i feel pressured which is always a big plus for me and he explained all my options then allowed me to make my own mind up. I would certainly use HPL again.

I think giving HPL Motors Used Car Supermarket 1 star is generous, I was sold a car that had ‘Bluetooth multi media’ that has never worked. I was sold gap insurance that I have only just found out I had (nearly two years after owning the car) I also pay £245 a month for a car that is worth £9000 a month. I would not recommend.
