Once they have your money that's the end of the customer service

I bought this Peugeot 308 diesel estate in a good faith , on the second day I asked the seller for a refund because of knocking noise when you turn fully into the right . The seller agreed there was fault after him self testing the vehicle but refused to give me a refund and said it’s only the tracking , so made arrangements for the car to taken to their garage but their mechanic confirm nothing . I went back to the seller and he was expecting me to pay for the tracking !!!. I said I’m not paying for it ,so I took the car to my local garage and done the tracking but the fault wasn’t the tracking it was the cam shaft ,then I had the engine management light on and the fan heater running all the time even when you turned the engine off , then problem with the DPF with a message displaying risk to block DPF filter . This car nothing but trouble . Please please avoid this sellers at any cost . Sweet talking at first , once they get your money they don’t want to know , you only covered for 6 months for the engine and gearbox if they ceases . There’s no after sale care or service .
Bought a car from this place, claimed alarm and headlight had been fixed, when the reality was the headlight unit needed to be replaced (£1k+) and the alarm had not been fixed but disconneced! I rejected the car 5 days after purchase and the owner just said no, sue me! Luckily I had credit card backing me up, and I believe they are now dealing with the garage having covered my costs in full! Save yourself the hassle and headache of dealing with this place and go to any other garage, you won't find any as bad as this one.

I bought my 10 year old Zafira from Cars of Kinson in July. The clutch went on the first day and they were really helpful with repair. BUT it didn’t take long to find the car had been really badly resprayed…ie. The base layer had not been prepared for the top coat, so that the lightest scuffing – which would usually easily polish out - goes through showing as permanent grey marks. Worse followed when a slight nudge to the flexible rear bumper left the paint peeling off in strips, just like wallpaper. I took this up with Dan and then Richard his boss, who although not willing to inspect the car himself responded “Once the paint cracks, it becomes vulnerable to water ingress, which will likely lead to further peeling.” Hmmm! Of course buying an old car I accepted some damage to the bodywork as there is. I have had two previous used Zafiras and one used Corsa so I don’t expect perfection. Yes, I accepted the car "as inspected" but have never encountered this, and I would not have bought the car had I known this would happen.

My son wanted a replacement car and we found one at this dealer Car was just what he wanted but had a few problems which we were assured would be repaired. however the garage that carried out the work on dealers behalf were far from competent and the work was far from satisfactory / not carried out Promised a full valet but this did not happen Battery went flat after a few days Rear brakes jammed on despite a new MOT Air con defective Passenger door defective Dealer refused to take car back and also refused to compromise with us by sharing the cost of the necessary above work. So be aware of this dealer and make sure you get what you are promised by the dodgy salesmen and poor customer service, -- or go elsewhere

Seen the exact car I’ve been looking for at Hamworthy MOT Centre/Cars of Kinson or whatever other guise these people trade by . Phoned and made arrangements to see the car. We were 10 minutes into the 3 hour journey to get there when Max (helpful chap) phoned to say there was a problem with the car, something to do with a cold start issue. Max said it would go into the workshop to be looked at and we would get a call during that week from Adam. Nothing was heard whatsoever from Adam that week or the 2 weeks since, despite several calls being made and messages left. I’ve even sent a message on the ebay listing but still no response. Does Adam actually exist? Why doesn’t he want to speak to me about buying one of their cars? I have cash and the time to view if only someone would call to make an arrangement for me to view the car I’m interested in. The car was listed on gumtree 2 days ago and when I called to chase up my initial enquiry it was still available then! If you have made a successful purchase through this outfit please send me your tips. Doubt very much I would make a purchase through them now but they might come in handy elsewhere. Other half is a sales trainer in the motor industry, maybe he could do them a discount to show them how they should be conducting their business! Oh no, wait, they don’t want to make any sales 🥴
I found a Vauxhall Zafira for sale on their site a few weeks ago and it ticked all the boxes I needed. It was a good price to be fair to the dealership and I paid a deposit to secure it whilst the finance agreement was put in place. Living 200 miles away from the dealership meant that I spoke to the dealership over the phone numerous times to check that everything was going to plan and I arranged a date to pick the car up making sure to give them about a weeks notice so they could get the car ready which they assured me they would. I left my house at 6am to get to the dealership for 10am ready to sort the paperwork out, tax the vehicle, hand my old car over for Part Ex, and then drive home. As soon as I arrived at the dealership and saw the car, I was asking questions. 1. The car hadn't been washed which is unusual but not a deal breaker. I was disappointed to be clearing cobwebs off the underside of the wing mirrors and the inside hadn't been touched with dog hair coating the back seats. 2. One of the wing mirrors had part of the casing missing. I queried this although again, not a deal breaker, I wasn't sure why this hadn't been sorted. I was told that they hadn't wanted to order one as they didn't think it would arrive by Saturday when I wanted to pick it up. Bear in mind, I had paid a deposit at least two weeks prior to this. 3. The rear nearside tyre was illegal. 90% of the tread was OK, but there was a small area that was worn badly enough to warrant needing a new tyre before it was driven away. I asked why this hadn't been done or at least disclosed to me (they knew I was doing a 400 mile round trip) and the guy shrugged and said he didn't know. 4. As we were talking about the tyres, I thought I better check that they had the locking wheel nut so the tyres could be changed. they didn't know where that was which would have caused issues. 5. They also didn't know where the log book, servicing book or car manual were. 6. There was a dent in the offside door pillar between the front and rear passenger doors. The dent, whilst not massive, was big enough for me to get my finger in and due to the location, could cause an issue to the structure of the vehicle. All in all, this was a shocking experience from a car dealer. The car was nowhere near ready to drive away even though they had plenty of notice and knew how far I had to drive back in it. The one piece of credit I can give them, is that they refunded my deposit without argument which also suggests that they knew the vehicle wasn't fit to drive. Please do not use this dealership. I made the mistake of reading poor reviews and ignoring them thinking they were customers with unrealistic expectations. My expectations were not too high considering it's a 7 year old car and wear and tear is inevitable, but I do expect the car to be ready to drive away.
