I have been buying my vehicles from gc motors for the last 11 years and have had almost every prestige car on the market. I cannot recommend this dealership more highly they always make both my long suffering wife and I welcome any time we either go to look at a car or just pop in to say hi. I have watched the dealership flourish from just a few cars to the amazing petrolhead heaven it is now. I have to mention One of the guys I have dealt with over the years. Pete Wightman is my go to guy and although he is one of the senior managers he always gives us the same service which goes way above what we expect he is one in a million. My first time dealer with GC motors and my first time buying from such a prestigious outlet like GC. I dealt with Pete Weightman, he arranged the viewing of the brilliantly spec’d and presented A45 AMG I had seen online. I couldn’t believe the immaculate condition and minimal mileage. The car was like brand new, I am so glad I decided to check out GC before I very nearly bought another one from a different outlet which had 20,000 miles more and no where near as much spec. This was my first time financing a vehicle as I had always paid outright for my cars in the past. I have to say the finance department were really really good. Easily explained every area of the finance I was applying for answered all my questions, this very much made me feel comfortable buying from these guys. Pete pushed on at his colleagues to prep and get the finance through as fast as possible as I was very eager to take delivery. 5 months on, I am still in love with the car and I would highly recommend taking a visit to GC, they have some amazing cars in stock and they are presently beautifully. GC Motors have it all Good people, good facility and good manners. left my Highland retreat on a wet Monday in November to go with my Arctic modified Hilux that was traded in for my new car on the phone the previous day. went ti GC motors next morning at around 1000 hrs and met with the sales person that I had been dealing with in the swap and purchase so I had a new car. my car was gone over in detail and reported on as not having any major defects, I inspected the new car went for a spin was given all the paper work and was o my way back to Scotland by 1230 Hrs, all the personnel were great but not over the top or silly. Great Company Great People and a Great deal go down and see them they have fine cars of every description ( Top End ) and I recommend them as looking after the Customer FIRST

As a car buying experience it was second to none, efficient, polite and very accommodating. Neil was excellent, did everything he said he would and made sure everything went smoothly. The car looked amazing when we went for the test drive and now looks even better on my drive. The little added extras that were on the passenger seat when I took delivery were a nice touch. I didn't buy the most expensive car in the garage but I was treated like I had. Thanks for the coffee Neil and I will pop in for another when we are passing.

In February 2019 i decided to consolidate a few of my cars with a sports car. I came across GC Motors through Autotrader who had a 997 Turbo with the options list thrown at it. The special order GT Silver colour I wanted also with the expensive PCCB! Perfect! It also came with another 15months full Porsche Service History... Bonus! I messaged through and a sales agent (Keith) got in touch and also did me a youtube walk around video. This was fantastic as i'm a 3 hour drive away and Harrogate was covered in snow at the time. I organised to go up and view the car. On arrival Keith greeted me and swiftly grabbed a hot drink! We had a walk around the show room whilst keeping warm, sorted the trade plates and my licence to test drive and went out. It drove perfect and looked fantastic. The only point i'd make out from is GC Motors advise no paint defects, dents or stone chips + refurbed wheels. This isn't entirely true. Mine had the usual pebble dash front, into the air scoops and a dent on the wheel arch, also the diamond cut wheels starting to peel lacquer. Nothing i was concerned about as i purchased it to drive, not as a museum piece. A couple of weeks later in March 2019 I went to collect. I was greeted by the Sales Director and several others and it was a pleasant experience, the car was brought up from the service area and parked out the front of the showroom and the final details done. Off I went. I sat down a few days later and went through the service History to find out that the Service was actually overdue, not already completed. Unfortunately Keith became defensive (He was new to the business at this time). Fortunately this went up the chain quickly to the Sales Director, who quickly acted and apologies for the internal oversight (This was genuinely missed as my car was confused with another on the system). A collection time was organised and a nice A4 Sline dropped off to my place or work (6 hour round trip). A Major service was completed and pictures sent to me with all items completed. Book stamped and the car dropped back. 6 and a half months into ownership (September 2019) unfortunately I had a major issue requiring the engine to be removed (nothing anyone could have foreseen in fairness to GC Motors). Although this was out of their warranty period they did support me and have been brilliant. With Sports/Super cars (especially used) there is an expectation that problems may occur. I believe what separates the good from the bad is the Customer Experience, Aftersales Support. I do genuinely believe GC Motors are working hard on providing this. There's always room for improvement but in my case, even though things went escalated quickly, they were resolved just as quickly. Overall my experience was a positive one. I'm thoroughly enjoying the car and I'll definitely consider purchasing another car from GC Motors when the time comes. I've tried to be as detailed and factual as possible with my review and hope it will help you in making your next purchase.
