I recently travelled from Kettering to Alfreton to purchase a Hyundai, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The car initially caught my attention on AutoTrader. The listing was outstanding. The photos and videos were high quality, and the car was presented beautifully. You could tell a lot of effort had gone into the detailing and staging, which really made a difference and gave me confidence before even viewing it in person. The price was also very competitive, which made the trip even more worthwhile. The location was easy to get to as well, just a 5-minute walk from Alfreton station, which was really convenient. When I arrived, the service was great. I was offered free tea or coffee straight away, which was a nice touch. There were also plenty of premium cars on display, which made the place feel professional and well-stocked. I was given time to properly look around the car without feeling rushed, and then offered a test drive. The car itself was exactly as described, well presented with new tyres, which was reassuring. Jordan, who assisted me, was fantastic. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made sure I understood all the details without any pressure. The purchase also came with a 3-month warranty, which added extra peace of mind. Overall, a really positive experience. I’d definitely buy from them again and would happily recommend them to others.

I’d bought a car 4 months prior from DM Keith and the service was so atrocious I sold the car as I was so bitter.I purchased my Land Rover Discovery on 6th March, and I was extremely impressed with the level of care taken to prepare the vehicle. It came with a new MOT and a full service, and at my request, the timing belt was replaced prior to purchase. Dan ensured this was completed and provided all supporting documentation, which I greatly appreciated.The vehicle itself was exactly as described—presented in excellent condition and ready for collection without any issues.Dan was a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. Communication was seamless, whether via phone, WhatsApp, or voice notes, and he was always accommodating and responsive. With a having a baby it was still so easy to communicate with him even if I couldn’t answer the phone. Dan made everything as convenient as possible. He was always easy to reach, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and responded promptly every time.Tiny bit of constructive feedback for the garage itself - get a receptionist or a bell to get someone’s attention faster. But genuinely, that’s my only bit of feedback to make this establishment 1000/10.Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Oakdene. A genuinely professional and customer-focused experience. Purchased my new car a few weeks back and any issues have been sorted efficiently. Currently dealing with Andy - 5* for communications and service from the minute I met him! Loving my new car and the support from Oakdene has been great! Would recommend for that car that's something special!

I searched the whole UK to find the car with the specification I wanted, only Oakdene and 1 other dealer had it and Oakdene were far better in response times and putting together a fair deal. Brought a volvo xc90 high spec and from start to finish it was absolutely brilliant, I was kept updated on the status of the car and definitely felt looked after.
