Brought a car off this garage & a few days later notice almost no oil in it, decided to take it for an MOT even though they had put a full year on the car, It failed on 3 Major issues & 2 minor issues, under new MOT rules coming into force this month the car would be immediately taken off the road, After several phone calls & promises they would ring back & several emails showing defects & quotes to put right i had to lose my temper a bit to get a response, They agreed to take the car back after a week of phone calls & agreed to do repairs & fit a new cambelt as a gesture of good faith, they lent us a courtesy car & promised to ring on Monday with a price for a service, the rest of the work they agreed to do free of charge, They didn’t ring on Monday or Tuesday but did finally today Wednesday, now they have changed their minds & want to charge us an additional £350, it’s obvious they realised the MOT repairs were more expensive than they realised & are trying to rip us off for more money, DO NOT TRUST THEM, they are so polite & friendly when they are selling you a car but totally change once you have brought it, Terrible after sales service & attitude, PLEASE PLEASE keep driving past

Further update, A6 motors finally agreed to do repairs the car failed an MOT on, they had the car over a week, i did warn them that we would be taking it for another independent MOT afterwards, got the car back & was billed another £220 before they would allow us to take our car back, the car failed it’s MOT again, the cv gator they should of replaced had been slit & tied on top of the old one, absolutely disgraceful service once you buy from them, they promise the earth while your buying but afterwards they lie & blame someone they say they had to sack, I am taking this further, dvsa, media & trading standards to try to protect other potential buyers from buying a nightmare or worse a death trap, the fact that A6 Motors use garages that are willing to put a full MOT on cars that are not road worthy is worrying (they used 2 different garages in our case) & as it’s a performance car as well proves they have no respect for lives either
Warranties given aren’t substantial enough for the prestige cars they sell. Service history advertised with none available. Warranty void!! It wouldn’t have covered the cost of repairsto most of the the cars in stock. Steer clear

As the heading stated, staff are impolite. I unfortunately bought a car from them. Wasnt even offered a seat at a desk. Paid 6825 gbp for a bmw. Was told it came with recent mot ?? I was assured the car was checked over and was in good condition. Upon getting it serviced here in Ireland , 2 rear suspension bushings worn out , front discs and pads needed and rear diff worn. Obviously no joy from a6 when contacted. I wonder how this car passed mot , possibly one of their " brothers " doing mot's. I advise exercising extreme caution in any transactions with this lot.

Dont go near this place. I went to look at a rang rover and the advert said every thing works as it should and is still on there saying the same thing. I got to the garage and took my peugeot 407 which had a A.B.S fault but they said they would still look at a trade in price. When i got there the rang rover had got a broken windscreen and they said it was an accident but i think it could be due to the way they do business and probably a disgruntled customer.They told me they knock money off or i could claim for the glass on my insurance when i got the car.When we went to get in the car you could not open the back passenger side door whitch i later found out is a M.O.T fail and the cars M.O.T runs out in may. Thiscar was being sold and still is unsafe if a child was in the back and you went in a river in an accident and the car droped on its driver side you would not be able to get out' you would be dead. The deal had all ready gone through before i knew that they was not going to put this right and i had paid a £200 deposit and the value of my peugeot. I had changed my insurance over as well and that cost me another £57. Insted of sorting things out and a load of phone calls and fobbing off we finally had a big row and i said i wanted my money back but they said no.I am reporting this to trading standards and the authorities and i hope the £200 was worth it' but one thing more than most 'i wish i had read this site before A6 ever crossed my path.

Sir you put a deposit on a car knowing full well the faults it had. The car was priced to reflect the two issues none mechanical on a 15 year old car. You changed your mind and abused staff with threats, rude language and we decided to not engage you when you racially abused the site lead. Our calls are recorded along with the apology you gave. We await the investigation from fca and have no doubt we will be proven correct in our conduct after which we will respond to your personal behaviour towards us in court.

Dear Sir. I was disgusted with reply by Saf to your complaint. I am Mr Parrish's partner and have been witness to what happened from the start. You never pointed out to us that the vehicle's in question had back passenger door does not open and is a MOT FAILURE. WE only found that fact out when we got back home and contacted local garage about it. He is not a racist and trying that trick just goes to show how you do your business. When all else fails you manufacture racist card. Disgusting. I sat next to Mr Parrish when the alleged conversation took place and can categorically state that there was NO RACIST REMARK MADE TO YOU.
Appalling customer service from A6 Motor Company. In fact customer service doesn't exist. So rude, and offensive. They don't care about the customer and its the first dealership that run itself without the need for customers, their boss don't need customers as well, because I have sent an email for him to contact me but he didn't give a damn! And no one ever replied. They tell you one thing and they lie to your face the next day and deny everything discussed the previous day. And the best joke of all that I heard from them, is that they don't clean their cars 'engine bay' because they don't want the customer to think that they are hiding something. LOL's Even if you feel that you want the car badly like I did it just not worth it because you will be dealing with a couple of lying deceiving bunch that will do anything to con you. Its good I did not put deposit down or bother to buy because I was ready to buy in Full with cash and it wasn't cheap. But thankfully they drove me away, otherwise I would have been screwed for no after sales service like other reviewers said. Just stay away for your own good, trust me.

Was looking to buy a car after seeing it online but told it isn't theirs to sell; a mates car but he has another garage so not sure what he wants done with it. Ready to go apparently. Checking the details reveals that it has HPI outstanding on it. The fact that these queries are an inconvenience to the gentleman as he "has lots to do" just shows you are dealing with your want-to-be sales professionals. When you visit a garage, you'd expect a reasonable level of service.

I found the sales assistant (Saffa) to be helpful, approachable and efficient. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and, most importantly, there was no high pressure sales techniques used! The car was delivered, washed, cleaned and ready to drive. Saffa took time to make sure I understood all the controls and gave me the confidence to drive the car without any worries or anxieties. I have since driven the vehicle over 2,000 miles and it more than meets my expectations. I would happily recommend both the company and Saffa, in particular to any one wishing to purchase a second hand vehicle.. In fact today my mother has done just that! Our purchase was handled
