Was met by a man called James, who showed me the cars. Very chatty and friendly. Arranged a test drive for a few days later, took all my details, said he would do a walk round video, so I could show my wife prior to the test drive. Nothing, no communication part from a generic email about preferences. Have e-mailed and phoned. no surprise he was unable to come to the phone. Thought all these type of dealer had log gone from the industry, seems not Then I read all the reviews on various site, think I dodged a bullet on this one .
Had a problem, various staff promised to take control the staff left then the next guy denied all knowledge, real lack of care and use of your car while in for work. try to fob pre-sale faults to the warranty company knowing they won't cover pre-existing issues. avoid or risk at your peril. I'll never buy a car or recommend these really shocked by just how bad they treat a loyal return customer

When collecting our car and travelling 2 hours to collect it there it was a missing under trays that they should of replaced before collecting and was told on viewing this it would be done we were told that this can be ordered to our local garage and all works would be paid for by them we had to chase the parts several times after being told it would be next day delivery had to wait 2 weeks. The car wasn't cleaned instead either after discovering boogies in the side doors and stains on the material and grease in the middle arm rest we were advised a cheque would be sent to have a valet locally as we didn't want to travel back to get them to do this and were getting this done locally we then paid for this to be done and had to chased the cheque up again after speaking to after sales we were screamed and swore at down the phone and told we were not getting anything even tho we had all this in writing saying this was going to be done, we were passed pillar to post and still nothing had been done and have now been ghosted by the new after sales manager I was told a service had been done but they couldn't actually tell me what had been done and just stamped the log book Don't waste your money with this company as once you have paid the deposit and paid in full they don't give a dame about whats wrong and are full of false promises, they need a lesson in customer services as are just rude and can not follow through and will end up costing you money avoid avoid avoid
When purchasing a car from Yorks affordable cars branch they sold me a £1000 car lifetime guarantee for cover against any repairs . DO NOT BUY THIS The insurance is a total scam they cover absolutely nothing!!! They blame anything on wear and tear Caroline

Bought a car from these scammers and after 3 weeks of false promises of them fixing the car we’ve been left with no other alternative but to take the car to a main dealer to be repaired

On the day the car was delivered the windscreen wipers fell off the car upon delivery. It transpired the car had the incorrect windscreen wipers fitted. The next day the brake pad replacement warning light came on the dashboard. The dealer asked me to take the car to my local garage and arrange for them to fix it at the cost to the dealer. Upon taking the car to my local garage to fix the brakes, I asked them to also service the vehicle. When trying to open the bonnet, my local mechanic found that the bonnet cable had been disconnected from the bonnet. My local garage also found that the air filtering housing was soaked with oil. Therefore there is a further fault on the vehicle which is causing the oil in the air filter. Prestige car supermarket offered me a courtesy vehicle whilst they processed my rejection. How foolish I was to accept this. It was very clear from the offset that I was seeking rejection of the vehicle. They took the car back and delivered a courtesy car. After 8 working days and several phone calls they have emailed me and claimed their is nothing wrong with the car and they will arrange an independent inspection to prove it. They now claim I have never requested a rejection and requested a repair because “why would they give me a courtesy car otherwise”. This dealership either never inspected my car in the 2 months they had it before they sold it to me or they deliberately covered up problems and defaults with the car before selling it to me.

We picked up our newish car Friday 17th may 24 late afternoon a great hand over and very helpful, the car was parked between two other cars so didn’t fully check around the car after getting home and having a good look around found a dint in the rear passenger door and drivers side inner trim badly damaged, phoned them up Monday morning and got a very rude answer about it saying the car had been through vigorous pre hand over checks and nothing reported to them I said who by Stevie Wonder he saidso you’ve purchased the car so was up to us to check every detail before driving off so basically tuff sxxt so I asked to speak to some else. Later that day Neil phoned and apologised about the first conversation and with no hesitation booked the car in for dint to be sorted and a new inner door water seal. Took it yesterday to the service department and was welcomed and treated with respect could not fault the people or the service that I received door seal being sent to my house so I don’t have to travel to service centre will not hesitate to purchase again.

Caution when buying from here. Edited review following 1 month of purchase - don't complete the review on hand over as you are asked to! Issues 5 days after owning the car. Dealership sold the car with known faults - the engine management light was turned off hoping it wouldn't come back on but it did after 5 days. Repaired through the warranty company and the fault has returned. Told to contact after sales who still haven't replied to my original email 5 days after purchase. They don't want to know - now requesting full refund as it is not worth the hassle and time to keep going to garages to sort faults that should never have been sold with the car. No follow up and lack of customer service - very poor!
