Before I start, a word of warning DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!! I will explain my reasons now: I purchased a vehicle from this dealer in Febuary to which I was happy with. The dealer stated to me at the time of purchase that the vehicle had 6 months road tax which I quiried twice as the new tax laws had just come into play where you cannot transfer road tax. He was adiment that the car would be taxed in my ownership so being a dealer who I believed should know his job I accepted that. Two months later I received a letter from the DVLA warning me that my vehicle was not taxed, also with a fine and I had to re tax the vehicle! This was appalling as if I had a accident or been stopped by the police during this time I would have not had a leg to stand on. I got in contact with the dealer and explained my situation. He replied by saying it's the DVLA s fault and they have it wrong. I then had a lot of to and throwing between the DVLA and the dealer which was very time consuming and stressful. In the end the dealer at Apsley Van Sales paid me a cheque for my fine which took a month to get to me from the time they admitted fault! I feel the way I was treated was extremely poor and unacceptable! This Dealerships staff and owners clearly have no knowledge of the business they are in and I won't even go into their customer service standards which are disgusting!! Hopefully you will read this and steer well clear from Apsley Van Sales. Go to a reputable dealership that will treat you with respect and know what they are selling you.
