Bought a car from Castle Donington in July, returned it under warranty after a faulty wheel bearing. took it in on a Thursday with a promise it would be back to me on the Monday. Came to Friday after speaking with a staff member on the Thursday guaranteeing me it would be ready for Friday morning to be told that they had'nt even done the work required to it. if there is one thing i dont like is its being lied to. Absolutely terrible service!
Sales team when buying the car and taking your money are brilliant. However, aftercare sales are absolutely shocking. When I first test drove my car, it had a flat battery. I was assured this would be sorted before I drove it away. Everything was fine for about 6 weeks until all of sudden, the car wouldn’t start and said ‘system fault’ . I booked it in with Available Car under the warranty and was told to drop it off at 9am which I did, I was also told that I would receive a phone call between 4-6 with an update. 6 o’clock came round and I hadn’t heard anything so I tried calling every department in the Donington store multiple times but nobody answered! I had to wait until they opened at 9am the following morning to finally speak to someone Only to be told ‘well your battery needs to be on charge for 24 hours before we do anything’ why was I not told this upon drop off?! Why was I not given an update? Basically I had to call multiple times for updates throughout the day. Finally was told at 5pm my car was ready for collection after a battery replacement. Got there at 5:45 and at 6:30, somebody came over and told me they’d lost my keys and couldn’t find them anywhere!!! Just a complete disaster from start to finish, with no real apology or care for their customer needs. I tried to talk to the customer care manager, Martin whilst I was there and he honestly couldn’t care meds and I got absolutely nowhere. I wouldn’t buy again from here that’s for sure!!
Purchased my car from them 18 months ago and it’s been in the garage 3 times for electrical problems. And guess what… the warranty didn’t cover anything. Currently my car has had a engine fire due to wiring fault and It’s too dangerous to drive and guess what….., warranty doesn’t cover it. Apparently faulty wiring is wear and tear. This is the answer to every issue. 6 weeks and I have no car. Available car are not interested. They just want your money and get paid commission and push selling add on’s to you but won’t pay up when a problem exists. Stay away. Buy from someone else and don’t bother with extended warranty it’s not worth the paper it’s written on.
Would give them zero if I could. Bought a car but haven't received lig book. When I phoned them they didn't want to know. Said they never owned the car and don't know who did and I need to sort it with the DVLA. DVLA need slip from the seller to register it to us which we was never given as its the seller who should do this. Don't use this company - absolutely no care after they have your money.

Bought a Hyundai and good experience whilst buying the car, laid back approach to sales. Car had an outstanding recall which was not mentioned at all during the purchase. The MOT was done on the day of collection so I asked to see certificate and the screen mentioned recall outstanding. Representative seemed flustered and said that the car would not have any outstanding recalls as the MOT had been done that day and anything would have been sorted, they don’t sell cars with recalls due. Rushed out of the office after being assured it was fine, spoke to Hyundai today and there is a recall outstanding. Absolutely appalling, first time using available car and will be sure to let people knows my know my experience from this # dealership. Dishonest and keen to take your money, sign paperwork and get you out the door. Do not use, plenty of other car dealers around with more reputable and trustworthy approaches to doing business

Car broke 3 times in 7 months £1000's of bills paid for extra warranty which is a joke. They really do not care about customers. Would not recomend
Bought a car 3 weeks ago and was promised to pick it up on the Monday morning. 1 hour before pick up, I was rang by the dealership and was told they had to push the pick up date back, due to not enough staff. It’s absolutely ridiculous, 1 hour before pick up!!! Spoke to customer service and they was no help at all, infact very rude!

This is my third car from available car and I can’t knock them at all. I had minor issues at the start with brakes making a noise but was quickly rectified within a week. No pushy salesman either

Don't buy the Warranty package it's not worth a paper it's wrote on they just put everything down to wear and tear

I am having the same problem with them. A four year old car done £18k miles with a siezed turbo…..they say it’s wear and tear!! The warranty is a joke
Rang the dealership early afternoon to ask about a Ford Focus Zetec S that was for sale. First call someone picked the phone up and put it down again immediately without speaking (I could hear background noise). Rang again and after a pause while the salesman (who was helpful) read a note about an issue, but then told me whatever it was had been resolved, so it was ok for me to attend to test drive. I told him i'd be heading over today as i was keen on the car, to which he reminded me to bring my driving licence, but unfortunately it was all downhill from there. After driving almost an hour from Coventry to see the car i couldn't even find it initially, however the chap on reception pointed me towards another compound where vehicles were waiting to be prepped. On finding the car It was clear it wasn't even driveable as one tyre was completely flat, with the car resting on the rim and the others looking like they weren't at full capacity either. Didn't see a soul in this area to speak to about the vehicle, so left for home. Not having the vehicle prepped (i.e. clean) wasn't an issue, but why would you tell people it's ok to test drive when it clearly isn't? After a long jurney to get there i'd have expected it to be roadworthy at very least. Worryingly there was a note on the screen telling staff not to carry out checks on it, which to an outsiders eye doesn't fill me with confidence. Wasted a two hour round trip.
