The Carshop Doncaster are quick to take a deposit from me but when i went back as arranged 48 hours later to bay the balance and pick up my new car know one now about it. still awaiting missing documents and SD card for the satnav

Booked to road test car 3 times each time problems, first time car faulty and going to dealer for repair 2 weeks later told ready to test when rolled up for test drive keys lost after a hour. Keys found but car in same faulty condition never been to dealer for repair on third try car repaired but price increased to cover repairs of over a grand, then just left with weekend trainee to close deal, he could no answer any questions and it the end just gave up. I have worked in the retail motor industry all my life and as now retired have never seen this poor level of customer service before, Carshop Doncaster needs closing down.

3 months of lies and poor customer service from the carshop in doncaster. im afraid I dont have the time to write a book on the catalogue of mess ups CarShop offer incentives to customers to post good reviews - dont fall for the current rating. Go to Available Car instead, far better service and after sale support. EDIT - take a look at another review, I witnessed this first hand on my initial visit. Horrible people who work there. "Horrible staff. Went to look round here with the intention of buying a car around the £12,000 Mark. Nothing really caught my eye so I was about to ask a salesman to look for me a suitable car from the national stock with the specs I wanted. He was with a colleague and shouted across to us have you found anything to which I replied no, followed by him instantly turning to his colleague and laughing said '' yea probably way to expensive in here for them '' before they had a joke at our expense. Firstly I don't appreciate being looked down upon by the staff who think they are better than me, I can afford one of your cars quite easily. I will never buy a car from a shop where people's attitudes are this way. I seriously think you need a better employment technique if this is the caliber of people that work there."
I bought the car three years ago from Carshop in Doncaster with a 3 year service and warranty package. The service package is a complete joke. I never picked up on this at the first service but the service that has just been carried out, (Full service), is nothing more than an oil change and an air filter. When I purchased the package I was told that the car would be serviced in accordance with the dealer/vehicle specification. Today, whilst it was being serviced I received a message recommending certain things to be done at extra cost. Things that I presumed was being done as it is part of the vehicle service schedule. On return to CarShop I questioned why they were recommending that they get done instead of doing it considering that I had already paid hundreds up front for the service. I got told by one of the staff that they no longer have to service the vehicle in accordance with the manufacturers service schedule because the car is no longer under manufacturers warranty. I tried explaining to them that the idea of servicing a car is to prolong its life and to maintain its safety and the schedule had been worked out by someone a lot more qualified than both them and me. At this point the person who I was talking to told the boy behind the desk to print off what had been done and he walked away from me never to be seen again. So as a result I have paid for a three year service plan which hasn't done everything required which means I'm having to pay again at a different garage to make sure the serving is complete. To top things off the car is still carrying a fault that they couldn't rectify and my warranty runs out next month which means they will never fix it. It has been in twice for this.

On checking the boot two days after sale of Mercedes from Carshop Doncaster I noticed that there was no Tyre kit i rang customer service they and I was told they would get one for me 3 days past and nothing phoned again got another Promise they would get me one 4 more days on and guess what yes you’ve got it no joy so not very pleased as I pointed out to them you don’t sell a car with no tyre so why no tyre kit if you deal with them check/and check again mr k breakwell very unhappy would be 5 stars but for this.

Having brought another car from CarShop Doncaster at the beginning of June 2019, I again obtained finance through Lloyds Bank Black Horse. This was obtained with no issues. Part of the deal was to use the trade in for settlement of the original car finance deal and for Carshop to settle the agreement. On checking my bank statement over the weekend I discover that the original monthly payments, as well as the new ones have been taken by Black Horse. On contacting them, Black Horse said that Carshop had not settled the original finance hence I was liable for the agreement. Therefore am I still the original owner of the vehicle in question? Have Carshop been fraudulent in their actions and simply kept the monies? I do know that currently Im down £1100 because of the failure to comply with their elements of the established contract. Ive called Carshop ( A near impossible task in itself) and am awaiting their responses. A call to FCA has to be next as well as a request for the original car to be returned to its owner by deed of the contract which has failed on their part.

Sales team at the Car Shop in Doncaster are no more than teenagers, pushy and hard sell. The car was supposed to have been valeted, it was covered in stains and carpets not hoovered, they took it back inside and so called, cleaned it again it was exactly same as before so did it at home. They also said it had air con, it doesn’t and they denied all knowledge when challenged afterwards. After sales is the worst, they are not interested whatsoever and all you get are fob offs. Their phones/emails and staff knowledge of who runs what must be the most unlucky business in the UK, they are always “down and not working”or don’t know anything. If you go Instore they are always too busy with buying customers to deal with never again! Be warned!

Carshop Doncaster sold me a car with an unresolved safety recall on it that should never have been cleared for sale. Then asked if I wanted to go and pick something else. No thanks. AVOID.

Exactly the same happened to us a few days ago. We were lucky enough to have just enough time to quickly get off the motorway and reach a petrol station. Their after sales has been appaling so far. We have a problem but no one has bothered to return my calls or emails.
