Purchased a Landrover Discovery.The car developed a few faults in the first two weeks of ownership. I contacted Johnathin and we came to an arrangement that I would receive full refund. I returned the car and the whole process was handled very professionally by Chequers Motor Company.

Went to look at a car and within a couple of hours driven it away. The whole process was smooth and Jonathan handled the exchange very well, from test drive to part exchange. It was clear that he wanted us to be happy with our car and we are. There was a small issue with the stop/start technology but this was fixed after a replacement battery was fitted under warranty. This is another point in his favour, Used car warranties often get bad press but theirs is backed by Chequers and if our experience is anything to go by it really is worth having. Will go again next time we need a car but hopefully not too soon.

Recently purchased a Seat Leon from Chequers Motor Company in Alresford and was very happy with the service from Jonathon and the team. Sam took me out for a test drive prior to purchasing the car and was very knowledgable about all aspects of the car and was very friendly and helpful. I asked Jonathan at Chequers Motor Company to source me a new van due to my existing one developing problems to which I had lost faith in that van. I explained exactly what my requirements were for the new van and with Jonathans recommendations and knowledge came up trumps with a VW Caddy after a short time. The vehicle was delivered to me in excellent and clean condition and it was nice to have Jonathan making sure all the paperwork was correctly done (tax, notifying DVLA of sale & purchase). Jonathan also gave me a good price for my van in part ex. I have only had the van a little while but I am really satisfied . can highly recommend Chequers to anyone who is looking for cars or vans

Having purchased a Renault Clio Sport from Jonathan at Chequers Motor Company in 2016 I recently decided to investigate a better long term finance package tied in with a car upgrade, so contacted Jonathan for some advice as he had been so helpful with the whole buying process. As I had sourced a finance contract elsewhere previously Jonathan got to work straight away to see what options were available. Having set my budget and car preferences, withing 24 hours he came back to me with several packages both of which were much better than my current finance contract as well as several cars that fitted my request. Going on his sound advice we went ahead with one of the finance deals offered (saving me a considerable amount of interest per year) and I chose a car on spec, trusting his professional opinion. Having now collected my new car and revised finance deal, I can honestly say nothing has been too much trouble for Jonathan to arrange or do for me. You don't get many independent dealers offering this excellent service over and beyond what is expected anymore but Chequers have excelled all expectations. Professional, helpful, friendly and reliable are just some of the attributes I can honestly say Jonathan has in abundance. I can whole heartedly recommend Chequers Motor Company to anyone considering a car purchase as you'll receive one of the best purchasing experiences and come away completely satisfied.
