I was in the market for a nearly new BMW, and went to look around their forecourt. I spotted a couple of X1s that I was interested in so I went into the showroom to enquire about them, there was a couple of other customers in but there was a few sales people stood talking to each other, I walked up to the reception where I was greeted with the opening line "do you have an appointment?" not so much as a hello or a can I help you, when I replied no I haven't the response was "well the sales team are too busy to see you". At this point I just said ok and walked out, the very same day I went and purchased a ten month old X1 from their Malton branch who were very helpful and saw me without an appointment (I have bought many cars over the years and never made an appointment to buy one). I would not recommend them to anyone, in fact I have told people to avoid them, the receptionist, and the sales team that didn't give me a second look are obviously only interested in people that look like they have a lot of money.
