I am very disappointed by this dealership as I called them today after being interested in buying a LEXUS CT200h in cash. I discovered that the rear tyres of the car are 9 years old which makes them extremely dangerous to drive on. The front tyres were newer (4+ years old), but still too old to be considered safe as per manufacturer guidelines. The representative I spoke with, tried telling me that they made checks and that it’s Lexus approved, but he clearly wasn’t aware of the safety issue at hand. I offered to buy the car in cash but with the discount that would allow me to safely replace all the tyres but, to my surprise, they didn’t want to budge. Please do check the tyres of the used cars you will buy from there, especially the YH15 LPC registered car. Tyre safety is not a joke, and someone may have a tire explosion at high speeds. I thought being a cash buyer and with a clear rationale would help them see my point, but I was wrong. Please be careful on that. The danger can be deadly. I don’t always write reviews, but my conscience wouldn’t be clear if I didn’t warn people of what I dealt with here.

Dealt with Mike Rawnsley at Lexus Derby to buy my Lexus GS 450h. Mike went out of his way to help us through the transaction, he’s brilliant! Having been an Audi A4 Avant user for the last 12 years I have just purchase my first Lexus (300h CVT AWD Premium Pack). registered in March 2020. It's a delight to drive and is luxurious and practical. The self-charging hybrid works seamlessly and I don't have the inconvenience of overnight charging. I've found the Lexus support from technical queries to the 3 years Warranty and pan European Roadside Assistance is excellent. The purchase process was efficient and friendly despite the Covid 19 restrictions. Thank you, Mike. I look forward to many years trouble-free motoring

I have been buying cars for 50+ years with a mixture of experiences but this one at Lexus Derby was indeed the best. No worries about COVID-19 the showrooms are spotless . I was made to feel very welcome by one and all . I’ve enjoyed great customer service from Lexus Derby since 2012 until February this year when my experience turned unsatisfactory. Two of my most recent company cars (Lexus) were purchased and maintained from Derby and I was very well looked after for 6 years until I came out of my company’s car policy and purchased my own Lexus NX Premier from Lexus Hatfield (who had an example matching my desired spec). I live and work close to Derby so continued using them for servicing etc and set up a service plan. 1st service, no health check video received and oil clearly not changed. This was carried out after I complained. An oil sample was taken for analysis but no outcome was received. More recently, I enquired about SMART repairs after receiving an email offering the service. I enquired 3 times over 2 weeks and did not receive a response. Called again today to be told we don’t actually offer a SMART repair service! This is sadly not the Lexus experience I’m used to!

I recently had my car serviced at Lexus Derby, who welcomed me and served me coffee and biscuits whilst I waited. Alex always makes you feel at ease and makes sure you have everything you need. Olivia was very professional and made sure I knew how long I would be waiting and checked to see if I had any additional problems with my car (Which I didn't have anything mechanical) but I had somehow turned off my paring sensors. Tom who conducted the service was very efficient and I loved the video of the health check. I would really recommend anyone to go to Lexus Derby to experience this excellent level of service.
