Discovered that alignment was slightly off after buying a car from them. Took it to my local garage and been told car had been in a crash, which I wasn’t told about. Emailed dealership and no reply so far. Be careful even if they're AA approved!

I can assure you that the vehicle has not been involved in any major accident as this would have been flagged up on any HPI check and any insurance check which was fully clear on your vehicle. Car is perfect.. but the advert for the car was misleading. It stated 15month warranty or free nationwide delivery included in the price of the car. Was told no delivery was available as I stay too far away. When collecting the car I was told there was only a 3 month warranty on the car and if I wanted the 15 month one it was subject to 'terms and conditions'. This T&C turned out to be me paying an additional £500 to have the warranty. Tried to resolve the situation with the garage but in any solution they offered it would involve me paying more money to get the warranty they stated in the advert was included in the price of the car. A shame this has left a black cloud over what would otherwise have been an easy and hassle free car purchase.

I should have realised after paying 300 pounds to get the car delivered. I had to ring twice for a receipt for my 300 pounds. The staff were not very helpful in fact they were vague. On receiving the car it had not been serviced as promised. That alone was 200 pound within 2 months my car would not start. The work for that was over 700 pound. They told me that I would have to get the car back to them which was not possible plus I did not trust them. I am a foster carer so I have to be doubley careful as I have to show all paper work to my social worker as I am carrying vulnerable children about daily. So I got the mini into a BMW garage and including the service paid over 900 pounds. Distinct motors " Danny" offered me 200pound towards the cost but that would have only covered the service on the car he was cross that I had gone to BMW and said it would only have cost him 200 ponds to fix it if that was the case why did he not check the car over. I thought I was buying s sound car as it had only done 14,000 miles and I went to BMW on my social workers advice as I have to keep the children I look after safe by law. And why would I not want to use a company that I could trust. Zuto are now looking into this for me. Distinct motors are supposed to be keeping up to the standards set by the AA so I think that the AA should also be notified. I am a single foster carer and I think they play on females with almost bullying tactics I was in tears after speaking to them as they were very rude. Hi Dianne, really disappointed to read your review. We do acknowledge that after several weeks of owning the vehicle you rang up to report the vehicle would not start to which we recommended you have the vehicle diagnosed at a local garage or simply use the free AA breakdown cover we provided when the vehicle was sold to asses and fix the vehicle. You refused either option and sent the vehicle into your local BMW/MINI main agent who replaced your car battery at £400 and conducted a full service on the vehicle at an additional cost of £400 totalling £800 plus VAT and demanded we pickup the bill with immediate affect. We spoken to Zuto the finance broker you used and they agreed that to simply have the car dropped off at the most expensive garage possible and simply try to pass on those costs to ourselves is simply not acceptable. We offered a £200 contribution to help with this matter, which would have been a fair cost for any battery on an 8 year old car but clearly we could not agree on this matter.
A fantastic experience from genuinely nice people. I have bought well over 15 cars in my lifetime and this experience was certainly the best. From start to finish the team were professional and patient and I purposely waited 6 months to leave a review so credit where it is due. Top marks from me and see you in 2 years time.
