PLEASE STAY AWAY!!! I have had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with this dealer, and still going through legal proceedings to get my money back as Tony refused to accept any responsibility. At first there was no issues with the car but when I went onto sell the car again it was brought to my attention the car the log book miles and MOT and the car mileage did not tie up, the car should have read well over 100,000 miles but instead showing 40,000. Further investigation then sourced the original owner and was contacted and he confirmed that the car had a high mileage when sold. As I said STAY AWAY.

Hi thier, could the person that put up this review please confirm the car that the purchased from us. As all our cars are Hpi checked for mileage and any discrempiecs. As it is a faulse review. So car dealer reviews could you look into this.. and have it removed.
I purchased a car recently with the mixed reviews, i thought I would give the benefit of the doubt to this dealer. This car dealer shouldn't not be selling cars based off of my experience here. Had multiple issues with the car that he sold me but when I confronted him he denied that none of the faults existed. I feel robbed of my hard earned cash by this dishonest car dealer who has a flashy Porsche parked up at the expense of treating others like he has me and more likely others! Never buy a car from this place as they cannot be trusted.

I recently bought my BWW X3 from this garage and I have to say they have been great from start to finish!! I had lots of questions which were answered promptly by email. I was a bit wary after reading some poor reviews but decided to follow my gut and bought my car! So glad I did!!! It's immaculate and as described, valeted to a high standard! We came to an agreed deal and there was no pushy sales! They put new tyres on the front before I picked it up. I noticed when I got up to Aberdeen a knocking noise coming from under car. BMW specialist informed me that the new tyres were different from ones on back and not compatible with the BMW X3! Not something you would imagine would cause a problem!! I emailed the garage and without question they offered for me to take the car to my garage in Aberdeen and have the Tyres matched to the ones on the back which were BMW approved and also so they would all be same. I had it done today and the noise has gone!!!.....and they settled the invoice!! I'm so happy! This is the best after service I have ever received! Please don't hesitate to visit this friendly garage!

I have recently purchased a car for my daughter a ford fiesta, very pleased with the car and with the service. The gentlemen was very helpful and understanding my budget. My daughter is over the moon with her little runner, thank you so first cars direct.
Firstly I was assured that my car would be available for collection same day I purchased. Due to missing V5 documentation this took six weeks, as opposed to the "couple of days" he assured. After pushing for a courtesy car, I drove away an old chevrolet that after a few hundred years showed three hazard warning lights: engine malfunction, brake system and oil light. I immediately returned to the forecourt to be assured by the receptionist, this would be fine to continue driving - happened to her all the time! An anxious, not to mention dangerous fortnight of driving this later I returned it very relived to be swapping for my promised car. Not ready - communication from this most unprofessional of traders was extremely poor with days passing of being ignored. "up to my eyes in it" being offered on one occasion. I eventually collected my car six weeks after the day I put down the deposit and, despite the terrible treatment to date, was delighted to pick up my car. One week later the handbrake cable snapped nearby my home - I took it to a local garage not wishing to commute the further distance to FCD showroom. The mechanic outlined several other faults and was astonished this had left a forecourt of a licensed car dealer. Back to FCD - once again ignored emails, more frustration, more swagger and jack-the-lad arrogance. However the faults were fixed and the car noticeably more safe to drive. A request for what exactly was carried out was ignored. As was I on a total of three visits to the showroom: Mr Singh, who knew I was calling, was mysteriously 'away in meetings' despite his immaculate Porsche sitting in the forecourt. This company boasting 30 years of trading has not one positive review on its website - BUYERS BEWARE - AVOID THIS MAN/BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. It is traders such as him who give the second hand car industry their dubious reputation. I should have heeded the warnings both from this site and my initial instincts. He needs to drastically modernise his systems, attitude and efficiency.

Tony at First Cars Direct sold me a car that had brake failure one day after purchase because the car had been in an accident prior to me buying it, not that I was informed of this, and had the brake line super glued together. As the pcv breather hose was also broken but cleverly disguises with a sheath this caused the dipstick to jump out and spray oil inside the engine bay and melt the super glue thus leaving my car with no brakes whatsoever and seriously endangering my life and those of my passengers. I called Tony regarding this and he would accept no responsibility for any of this and was exceedingly rude. Even suggesting I drive 70 miles to Edinburgh to sort it out even though he was perfectly aware I had no brakes whatsoever. I have spent nearly 5 thousand pounds putting the faults right on this car to make it safe and Tony now has not answered my calls or returned my emails for over a year now. I would strongly recommend never purchasing anything from this oufit. In closing the car was serviced and mot'd the day before I picked it up so these faults would have been known by the mechanic he uses too.

This is my second car I have purchased from First Cars Direct. And I've had great customer service for the second time. I have enjoyed the experience buying from this company second time round I would definitely recommend buying a car from here.
