Was concerned given the reviews on here, but good communication on the choice of cars. Friendly when we were there and found them really helpful and did buy a car. Josaih went that extra mile. We had a positive experience.

Travelled 1 Hour along M5 to dealership following a phone conversation with Joel in which he told me the car was "clean & lovely" and that he would get it ready for my arrival. None of this was true as when I arrived the car was completely surrounded by other vehicles and filthy with damage all over. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Would never recommend this garage if it was the last one on earth. Very rude sales staff and can not answer a simple question honestly. A complete waste of time

GL1 Car Sales repeatedly misrepresented the condition and correct operation of the vehicle. They breached the time limit they themselves imposed on our contract and then refused to return our deposit. When we allowed them more time the rectify the issues they again failed to satisfactorily fulfil those terms. In order to mitigate for their failures and satisfy ourselves as to the condition of the vehicle (we had lost confidence in GL1 Car Sales), we asked to arrange an independent vehicle inspection, they withheld permission for us to arrange an independent vehicle inspection (in breach of their AA Sales terms), then gave us a 3-day ultimatum to collect the vehicle (after we had allowed them additional time after failing to meet the terms of their own contract). If you have had issues with this company, report it to AA Complaints; we did, but AA would not take action on a ‘first’ reported offence. In short don’t, just don’t. Go elsewhere.

Went up to Gloucester on 21 March to see a Kia Rio having spoken to a nice lad Jack before travelling as we were coming from Carmarthen. Got there to find car had only one key, not mentioned in ad, and that "margins were tight" so wouldnt provide a 2nd key. If we knew it was one key we wouldnt have bothered. Like some else here mentioned they needed a jumper pack to start the car. When talking outside a tall guy with a beard came out as he could see we were really inspecting the car and I guess he thought we were buying. The minute he heard me say the red paint was, well, faded would be fair to say, he got the complete Ars£ and stormed off back into his hut. This may be the same guy others mentioned has a stinking attitude. Whilst researching cars b4 going I came across another car they have. A red Ka YG62 EKU and as I do I looked at its MOT history. Which puzzled me. On GOV.UK 14 march 23 48,753 miles...which was odd because on the previous MOT on 11 july 22 it had 74,229. So just in passing as we were leaving I showed Jack screen shot of what I saw and he said thats odd hpi check should have spotted that. Bear in mind I was telling him this so they could check if they had been had. So we pop back into the hut and he speaks to a guy called Alan and he says it cant be our car. Unfortunately at that point I only had the screen shot from the gov site not the reg and no internet on my phone. Next thing the big guy with the beard is going off on one at me saying its not ours we dont have cars like that. So its no skin off my nose if he either does not believe me or knows its true...my son and I leave. Im sure were going to get the...this is a familly business response...or the we have no record of you visiting. But folks you decide if what I am saying might be true...visit gov.uk mot checker...oh and just to be sure Im not being accused of being deliberately mischievious I screen shotted the cars add as it appears on the website in case the car disappears from sale.

Highly recommend this seller. I purchased this yellow Vauxhall in April 2023 but I wanted to use the car for a while before reviewing it. Lovely car, low mileage, well looked after just as they told me on the sale day. Used the car for 7 months now and around 6000 miles , haven't had one problem with it. Very pleased with my purchase, very friendly staff at GL1 car sale , paperwork and final car checks done within 1h .

In my opinion this is definitely the best car sales place i have ever been to they were really upfront and honest about what they was going to do to the car it came with a complete clean mot sheet the car was valeted really clean to brand new before I picked it up

Possible the rudest sales guy (who said he was the owner). Had visited a week or so earlier and the young guy whilst polite was laking in knowledge and no one else was available. The main problem was the car not as described and the rudeness of the owner was amazing. Stay away

Bought a car and a whole range of things were wrong from the minute we got it home. G1 couldn’t have cared less. AVOID!!
