Well worth travelling 190 miles to buy our vauxhall meriva from Harvey's. Franc made the process so simple, he was professional and very quick. We didnt want to faff, looking, he got that. We were driving away less than 30 minutes later. Hubby loves the car, we will definitely be looking at Harveys again in November for another new to me car.

If you are thinking of baying a car from Harveys Autos Stafford don’t. I made this mistake last March, they are very very good at taking your money, but when it comes to after sales service, there isn’t any, I was promised by Louis the sales man that he would get a part for me and put it in the post, that was March this year and we are now in August and I’m still waiting, I have given up ringing because you get the same lie’s told to you every time, the part is here we will pop it in the post, but nothing happens, I wrote a letter of complaint to the car sales manager, they never even acknowledge my letter. Be careful I’ve been in the motor trade for over 60 year and this is as bad as it get’s for after sales service, believe me, Definitely will not be getting another car from there Keith Hawthorne

We bought a car from them back in March 2023 that has since cost us £1.298 to get to a reasonable yet, more importantly, safe condition. We have contacted them via email twice now, requesting information on who performed the MOT that passed the vehicle when clearly work was required and who performed the pre-delivery inspection service!! They have not even had the decency to respond. At the beginning of July, noticing some dripping underneath the car, we took the car into our local garage who, upon inspection, deemed the car unsafe to drive. The inspection findings are, as verbatim, Found radiator to be leaking on the nearside front corner and renew air-con radiator as no fins are left. Replaced radiator and air con condenser, on stripping it down to replace found the metal coolant pipe from the water pump across the front of the block to be very heavily corroded so replaced whilst we had access as the would have not lasted for more than a few months maximum. Renew nearside front shocker as badly leaking. Renew front discs and pads as no inner face left on discs, also replaced both calliper pins as old ones were totally corroded and likely to break. Offside rear shocker badly leaking – renew. The sump is badly corroded and exhaust badly blowing from CAT back – exhaust must be removed to get to sump. Replaced from cat back including two securing clamps, fitted new sump changing oil and filter. On rebuild could hear a whistling noise and found that two bolts on the exhaust manifold were sheared and that it was blowing via exhaust manifold gasket, drilled out two sheared bolts, and fitted new gasket that was all coked up where it had been blowing for some time. What is of most concern is that the car is for our daughter that we have unwittingly put in danger. It is unimaginable what could have happened, particularly on the long journey she took to Grantham! Although we expected there would be work required at some point due to the age of the car and some work, we did not anticipate the extent of faults, some of which being dangerous. May I also add that none of this damage can be attributed to our daughters’ driving skills, with the installation of her black tag, we receive all data via the app concerning the handling and smoothness of driving that has been no less than 10/10. On an additional note, this has led us to review the original invoice from that clearly states we were due to pay £3,400, they actually took a transaction of £3,700 that went unnoticed! Needless to say, I implore that no-one purchases a car from Harvey’s, diabolical.
