They had my Range Rover Sport for over 2 months,2 visits( went straight back after returning, not fixed!!)There was no communication, so I had to keep ringing...just try and get through....eventually, I spoke to the service manager who when I asked when I would get my car back said "Your guess is as good as mine" Also the car was taken into Burton on Trent and now it was at Derby, no one informed us of that! Much more happened however, to cut a long story short the car was picked up from them unfixed!! I have never known such an appalling service.
Cannot fault Jase at Burton on Trent for his one to one service, had issues with car and was sorted, unfortunately the wrong part was fitted son still an issue, he sorted it all out and even loaned me a defender for my trouble, To sum up his customer service is excellent and in my opinion every company needs a lad like him at the front of house. A++++ Top Lad!!

Booked my car in for a new DPF filter. Lydia has amazing costumer service , no issues with the work carried out on my car. Went to collect my car to pay in part cash and card payments, was told they don’t take cash, I had no communication to say they don’t except cash. Spoke to Lydia’s manager and he would not except cash part payment /card, I live 20 miles away from the garage. He said I had been sent a email /text saying no cash payment , to which I showed him it does not communicate that on any message I’d received to which he said the team should be mentioning it, I said if it doesn’t state anywhere how can you expect your team to communicate it, Totally unprofessional management. Like I said Lydia was a breath of fresh air, brilliant costumer service .
Do not buy a used approved from this company. Nothing is approved about it. We brought a land rover discovery 5 HSE and ended up taking it back. The car had no sound through the radio, parking sensors wasn’t working. Park assist even though advertised didn’t work. Cigarettes burn to the dash. Windscreen wiper fluid didn’t work. Boot liner snapped and hanging off. Considering there had been a multipoint safety check. First impressions are misleading. They can do absolutely anything for you before purchasing but as soon as the car is handed over to you it’s a case of you find out all it problems and then keep contacting them to add jobs onto the list. Then when they’ve had it for two days you leave with jobs still outstanding as no one talks to each other there. We went to Land Rover for the experience and professionalism but nothing but disappointed. When returning the car after having all these problems and being offered multiple accessory upgrades just so we kept the car the man did not even apologise for the experience we had just sat filled his paperwork and refunded the money. We part exchanged a perfectly good condition Golf GTD and we’re given a car which had more problems then an old banger from a local dealer considering we paid over £38,000 wasted multiple days going back and forth. Only advice is just be very wary the safety check is obviously none existent. I wouldn’t hold my breath they don’t check the cars before letting families drive away. Disheartened by the whole experience.

Having bought a 4 yr old Discovery, engine management light came on after 2 weeks. Took car back to Inchcape the next day, to be told needed a new engine, Kirsten was excellent in clearing with extended warranty and arranging hire car. Overall, very staightforward and well managed. Car back in two weeks and is perfect. Very pleased.

purchased an approved used car from Blake Roan the existing mot had advisories and Blake said the items would be addressed and a new 12 month mot would be provided with no advisories. Fast forward 11 months and 6000 miles and the car failed its first mot for brake pads being just 1.5mm and an advisory for the rear brake discs - that was shown on the previous mot and Inchcape removed from the mot that they supplied??? suspect them of giving an MOT certificate to a vehicle they have not tested. Inchcape Land Rover Derby are not prepared to do anything about it. They supplied a car that rear brakes were illegal within 6000 miles and removed and advisory from an mot without doing the work. A report on MOT tester / centre has been submitted to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. I would strongly advise getting a car independently checked before collecting from Inchcape Land Rover Derby as it may be illegal and dangerous to drive within just a few thousand miles. In July 2020 at 51941 miles an Mot tester advised the rear discs were worn. In Sept 2020 at 53431 Inchcape Land Rover Derby said they were not worn and sold the car as approved with a Land Rover warranty with brake pads dangerously low at 3mm on worn discs. The car went to Guy Salmon Land Rover in Sept 2021 (this week) at 59942 miles who failed the mot for dangerous pads and advised worn discs, they have quoted to replace both as they say the discs are worn and will prematurely wear pads. I believe that Inchcape Land Rover Derby did not do the necessary checks on this car. On the telephone today they said that there Mot was correct and will not do anything about this - despite two other MOT testers saying different. It is also interesting to note that on Inchcape Land Rover Derby website page the reviews that are show are of Land Rover Chester not Derby presume they don't want to show their own reviews on the Derby page.

I originally enquired about a used evoque advertised by Derby Landrover and confirmed the price and specification by telephone, I called in when passing and viewed the car which was of interest and called the dealership to confirm some details as they differed on the website to the details in the window ticket. I repeatedly rang and also emailed but they couldn’t even bother to reply until I complained to reception that I wanted to speak to the manager. I then checked on the website to see if the car was still available and was totally shocked and amazed that they had increased the price by an incredible £3746 !! and this was when I was interested in it so I contacted them to see if there was an error to be told “we have a team who change prices daily” plus the fact I saw it and enquired about the car at a different price was irrelevant and if I wanted it the price would stand. They really expected me to to pay over £3700 more absolutely shocking and I will be buying elsewhere.

Worst dealership I ever used in 37 years to purchase a vehicle. I contacted the Inchcape Land Rover dealership in Derby in January 2021 for a price to purchase a Discover Sport. I told Charlotte the spec I wanted, my budget and deposit I had. She came within my budget so I was happy. I paid £1000 deposit. I waited 9 weeks for delivery. I got a phone call on the Friday 26th March morning telling me my new vehicle has been delivered. I was so excited. We arranged for me to collect on the Sunday. Then on the Friday afternoon I had a phone call off a Manager telling me they made a mistake on the Finance so repayment need to rise and I need to pay more deposit.I explained they made the mistake so they should honour the deal but they refused. I was so disappointed with the dealership. They wouldn't compromise. Customer service was terrible. Their attitude was horrible. All I ever wanted was the dealership to honour the original deal but they refused. I contacted Inchcape customer care department and they wasn't interested. I wouldn’t ever use a Inchcape dealership again. Also I wouldn’t recommend Inchcape Derby Landrover dealership. This review is about the dealership not Land Rover. Land Rover make stunning vehicles, it’s the dealerships that let’s Land Rover down big time. You been warned about this dealership.
I have recently had quite extensive work done mainly on the suspension of my 4.4l V8 Range Rover Vogue. I found that the whole team that were involved in the work, including Rosie Luckhurst who was most helpful in keeping me closely informed of progress, Robert Gidley who provided much useful advice, and the technician Josh, demonstrated what good service really is. They not only carried out the work in an efficient and expert manner, but also showed real interest in the project. Five stars are certainly deserved!

This is the first time I have dealt with Inchcape Derby and it was a pleasure. Very helpful and straight forward and catering for anything I required with ease. I will definitely be looking to buy our next vehicle from them. Thanks to Tea and the team.
