Bought a 2009 Mini Cooper S from JID Trade Price Cars and the car has numerous problems and is basically undriveable, Ben Hargreaves is refusing to take the car back, even though I am willing to pay for the transportation costs.It is people like this that give Motor Dealers such a bad name.

Absolute shocker, only wish I might have read the reviews here first. Similar experience. Car nowhere near quality described, broke within weeks, dealer never responds/refused to rectify. Judging by other site reviews owner never satisfies all obligations either. Acts all nice to get the sale (of course) but doesn't want to know afterwards. Very disappointed with JID Trade Price Cars.

Ben was a nice man kept two his word he delivered my car as agreed I trusted him with my money he was great. No joke he was always answering my calls and helped me a lot thanks Ben. And as for all these other reviews cars are cars they have issue's at times depends on make and model but full marks two Ben I will be using him again u can bank on that

Went to jid car sales to view a vehicle the vehicle had a major oil leak oil all under engine gearbox, brake disks all Coroded to a state that they needed changing exhaust front to back Coroded that's what I found the first few minutes of inspecting one of there cars the sellers response it's a 8 year old car and then asking me to hurry up as he needs to be somewhere customer service what customer service. I would recommend any one who is thinking of buying a car from these people to stay well away there cars look nice in the pictures and add but are not as described

Ben the seller/ owner was absolutely fantastic, very helpful and friendly the deal was done and so straight forward I've never had a car purchase go so smoothly and it was bought and driven away within 48 hours .I can highly recommend this young man and his family run business. I certainly would buy from him again without a doubt.

I recently purchased a vehicle at jid and dealt with benjamin I found him for a young chap very knowledgeable and reassuring about my purchase he was extremely patient and didn't pressure or rush me I test drove the vehicle but had come to view the vehicle whilst on business as I live near sheerness I went home and discussed it with my partner I then contacted Benjamin who offered me a very competitive rate on delivery safe to say the purchase went threw I am happy with my vehicle and have driven it daily with no complaints having read these reviews I think these people have being harsh as I would definitely use him and recommended him to my son in law ****

I travelled a long way out of my way to view a car that the seller described as perfect and found it to be undrivable. The suspension had collapsed on one corner and one tyre had a big puncture. There were also several features listed in the advert that were not on the car. I managed to negotiate a good price which made buying the car worthwhile and have since spent £600 putting it right. They basically buy cars from auctions, valet them and sell them on. What you get will look great on the surface but the mechanical condition is basically random. You just don't know what you are getting. If you wouldn't buy a car at an auction then I wouldn't recommend buying a car from this company. If you would buy a car at an auction you're better off going to the auction and paying much less. If you really insist on buying a car from this company, make sure you know what you're looking for and are prepared to do some work on it.

I drove up from London to see a fiat punto, the car was in great condition and drove perfect! The young man was very helpful and informative. Also the car was well over £600 cheaper than any others I had found! Great dealer to by from and would recommend to anyone buying a used car.

No complaints so far. Great communication given I was buying the car from some distance away made it an easy transaction. Bought Saturday, delivered Sunday.
