JPM are clearly well respected, given all the positive reviews I have seen for them. This, and the fact that they always feature one of their motors at Sleaford Golf Club (which always look good value) made them my first port of call. I saw the car I wanted on their website and paid them a visit. I was looked after by Chris who had a pleasant, professional manner about him and was very satisfied throughout the whole process. He even arranged for me to have a courtesy car to cover the time until my new car was fully serviced and prepared. Well done Chris...and I love the Seat Arona!

What a nice experience buying a car from this company, professional - courteous - helpful -knowledgable - straight talking......just a few words to describe the sales team, bought a lovely Nearly new Ford Mondeo better prices than a leading UK supermarket who Inwont mention and a low rate of finance. Well done Gary and Graham for having such a great team!

Turned up to John Peat Motors after travelling from North Wales (3 trains) to pick up a 2016 1 series BMW and the car had 3 dents (cost me £160 to repair as their guy wasn't available for 3 days, John Peat Motor's paid £70 towards the cost). The ad stated 1 owner and the car had 2 owners, also stated it had 17" alloy wheels and only had the 16" wheels AND no service history written or on the idrive as told. They were also listening to the car auctions while I was there...Mmmm.... Oh yes, two weeks later the car also registered low oil level and needed topping up. When I checked the oil before topping up (1.5ltrs) I noticed the oil was black and smelt well used. I would not buy from this company again and the only good thing I can say is, they were friendly.... but then they would be! :(

Terry, thanks for taking the time to review our business. Firstly it is a shame you haven't contacted me directly about your queries as I could of answered these with you directly however I will do my best to answer these now. The car was serviced on the 11/03/2019 it was electronically clocked onto by our mechanic K.Glenn at 9.11am then clocked off at 11.18 the car was also MOT'd after this. As the car had only covered 14600 miles in the 3 years it has been registered we did an interim service and 4.4ltr of oil was used to complete this. Fresh oil can Blacken instantly in a Diesel due to the carbon build up in the way the engine is designed to burn its fuel unlike a petrol diesel car oil will not stay translucent. The servicing schedule on your BMW was set to longlife which is around every 20,000 miles or 2 years the servicing is recorded digitally with none BMW dealers or recorded on the idrive with BMW dealers since 2011 BMW no longer supply service books, as you was aware and we gave to you an Invoice stating the car was Invoiced prior at Motorpoint they do have a copy on file if you require it. We also have a copy of the Service we did should you require that. I have re-checked the advert on Autotrader where you initially enquired from and the car clearly states one current and one previous owner I have also gone back through the chat you had with both Matt & Graham and there is no mention of one owner, I will willing look into this if you can supply me with what you have seen. The dent's was noted on the collection sheet of the vehicle obviously with any used car it is hard to supply it in new condition, as we value all of our customers we agreed to contribute and arrange to have the dents looked at your end. We pay £35 a panel for dent removal and have access to three companies that do this unfortunately none of these companies was on site when you collected it. We was shocked to find that the company which did it wanted to charge you £160 for two panels which is near re-paint price. As you state on your review we covered the cost to what we would pay. Concerning the listening to auctions, our buyer was present that day and successfully sourced a 2018 3000 mile £42000 Jaguar F-Pace for a returning customer direct from a Jaguar UK closed sale sometimes we need to buy cars from the same place as other Jaguar dealers as these cars are not available from Motability at any time these closed auctions attract around 75% of the UK's associated dealers and as we have built a 40 year relationship with these sellers we get exclusive access to their sales. These are vehicles that have been used by the Manufactures and in this case the first owner on this vehicle would have been Jaguar UK. Regards Gary (Director)

Our experience at John Peat Motors ( Nov 2018 ) was totally hassle free thanks to the experienced staff especially our salesman Chris , who was very courteous, made us feel at ease from the off.
He was very knowledgable and may I add that we did not find him and any of the staff pushy at all ,yes they want to sell you a car but firstly they want you to be happy with the whole experience. As for after sales we have had numerous people say it is excellent.
That is what you want when you are spending quite a bit of money on a vehicle.
We will definitely be going back to John Peat Motors in the future, thank you , Mr and Mrs K T Ashmore.
