We were actually disappointed with their service. They were giving us miss information about the car we wanted. For example, they said it had one owner and then we found out that a company owned it and lots of people could hire it so potentially 100 drivers. After we did AA service check (even they said they did the check themselves), the report said that the battery was dead and the car canopy doesn’t lock and few other bits. Who does sell a car which doesn’t lock??? I know it could be fixed but then they mentioned that the roof probably will leak and they actually didn’t own the car but their friend or something. They lied how long it was there. It was just all dodgy. They could have told us these things before we paid £300 for service. Then husband said he doesn’t want it and then they sent us an email next day ‘We actually sold the car after you left’ How absolutely rude! I couldn't believe that :D

Ross Heal from Keepers Cars in response to Disappointed! Full of Lies
Hi Erika, To say I am upset to receive this review, is a huge understatement. I feel we were so patient and accommodating, between 27th February and 11 March, whilst we were trying to sell you our lovely Nissan Navara Pick up truck. In response to your points raised, Joe was shown the registration document, and the service history. I pointed out it was owned previously by a company, and had been purchased on a lease. The leasing company (Lex Autolease) were shown as the owner on the V5 reg doc. It was never owned by a daily rental hire company. The business that had the vehicle, was the only owner, and had every service service carried out by the same Nissan dealer, local to them in Scotland. You paid £300 for an independent AA inspection. We never said we had already done this, as we have all our vehicles inspected internally. If we had paid for it to be done by the AA, we would have shown you the report, and saved you that outlay. The battery was most definitely not ‘Dead’, as you came to our premises and test drove the vehicle with my colleague Paul. When the AA came to inspect the following week, it was merely flat. It was recharged for the inspector, and never gave issue again. He was merely reporting the fact, it was flat upon his arrival. The canopy could not be locked. We were not supplied with any keys for it. It is not unusual for aftermarket canopies, and pick up tailgates not to to lock, so we didn’t see this as being an issue. Although you may not of expected this, commercial vehicles, do have their differences to passenger cars. I believe this was your first potential purchase of a commercial. Your husband, Joe, said you were happy to purchase the Navara, if we got the lock replaced. I agreed to this. I purchased a new lock, with 2 keys, from Truckman. I let Joe know I had it was ordered. Then, the following day, Joe said you were no longer going ahead with the purchase, as you required the canopy to work with the remote locking fob, of the vehicle, as apposed to putting the key physically in the lock to open the canopy. This wasn’t possible with this model of canopy. I didn’t say the roof would leak. I mentioned to Joe, on his second visit, that in my experience, removable canopies, are not always watertight. They have the potential for water to drip through. I mentioned this, when he told me you would be keeping a pushchair, and other baby items in back. I advised that an SUV may be more suited to your needs. I was trying to be helpful, and didn’t want tot sell you a vehicle, that may have resulted in buyers remorse. We absolutely do own all our vehicles. We have no stocking loans. Like all our vehicles, we owned this Nissan Navara 100% outright. It absolutely did not belong to anyone else. Although Joie had told me on 10th March you no longer wanted to proceed with the truck, he also asked me to confirm that the new lock was successful, once we had installed it. We installed it on 11th March, I emailed Joe to say it had worked, and out of courtesy, (as I though the fact he wanted an update, may have shown a lingering interest), I let him know it had sold earlier in the day. (11th March). This was by no means meant to be rude. I was genuinely trying to be professional, as I aim to be with all my customers. In summary, we entertained, all of your emails, two visits to us, and an AA inspection, over the period of around 13 days, happily dedicating more of our time, than would usually be required to conclude a vehicle purchase.

I am sorry you're upset. We told your colleague straight away that's it's going to be a family car with a new arrival so he could have saved us £300 by telling us the canopy doesn't lock, you don't have the keys for it and the central locking for canopy is not working either even we read that it was supposed to. Then your colleague could have mentioned that the canopy might leak too. Well never mind but you saying now that my husband didn't tell you final NO and you sold it to another buyer after we already paid for the inspection and you changed the key lock and didn't wait for our response is quite sad but that's what business men do so I am not surprised. You could have at least check. Also the car was vibrating a lot on a test drive and your colleague said that they all do as they are not meant to be luxurious. Well since then we tried another 2 same models and they didn't vibrate. So how can the battery not work few days after test drive? Never mind, we would have bought a new one it's not a problem. I just think you could be more helpful to your customers and listen to their needs.
I bought a used 05 plate Alfa from Ross at Keepers Cars, Stroud through Auto Trader. Price was fair, with excellent description, photos etc and car was exactly as described. Found Ross friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Drive back home to Worcester was great and It was a pleasure doing business with him. I would recommend them to anyone wanting an honest, reliable dealer!

Good service and aftercare from Keepers Cars. I got my Honda from them back in September. Since then I have had one light pop up on the dash but the dealers were happy to get it sorted. The car was a very good price and the process has been quick and easy. I would recommend.
