Whilst Ben has great Customer Service ethos, he is also a car dealer, I will start this with 'buyer beware'.
I brought a Black VW Passat, the pre-handover document had nothing marked regarding the dents, apart from saying 'minor chips and dents due to miles'.
When I visited the premises, the care was dusty, somewhat hard to see dents on a black car, been pointed out a couple of rear door and quarter which was acceptable.
I came back to collect the car, it was still dusty and I felt this was pretty poor not even washing the car for the buyer to take home. I returned home with car and had it valeted and found there are 13 separate dents on the car, if I had seen these and I would have done if it was cleaned, I would not have brought it.
Spoke to Ben, he said you where here twice and you had a chance to look it over etc etc.
Ben should have had the paperwork completed with damage for the buyer to see.
So buyer beware with Ben and Lease Cars Direct, this is my fault for assuming they where a decent outfit.

The review has not come as a surprise to myself as it was expected after we spoke and was unable to offer you money. As we discussed you viewed the vehicle twice before making payment both in day light and without any pressure or limitations to time. i also pointed out a couple of the worst dents on the vehicle for your attention and you was not phased by this. When requested photos from you of theses dents you said they wouldn’t be visible on an image so my report seems perfectly correct. The valet was done a few days previous to viewing and collection and although slightly dusty (UK summer time) it wouldn’t have made any difference if we re washed the vehicle. We have been as honest and transparent as possible with you selling you a used 120,000 mile vehicle at under £10,000. You’re one star for each category is only because we did not refund you £1000 as per your WhatsApp message. If this was a true reflection of the service provided or the vehicle you would not have purchased. If you require further assistance please email or call my office.

This was my first purchase from Lease Cars Direct LTD, and I must say the service was 1st class. The car was as describe in the advert , I dealt with Ben who was very informative with absolutely no pressure selling and very good communicating, even a follow up after our purchase to ensure that we were happy with the car.
Lease Cars Direct LTD will be my first port of call for when I next look to buy a car, and I would certainly recommend others to do the same.

We travelled 4 hours to lease cars as they had the spec of vehicle we had been searching for,
The car was exactly as described, which is rare in the car business as car Salesmen are renowned for little indiscretions exaggerations on what they call a ‘mint car’ but it was as described. Ben was extremely accommodating and made the purchase a smooth transaction
We are happy owners of a premium vehicle & highly recommend

I've just bought a very nice Jaguar xf sport from Ben and can't speak highly enough of him.
His knowledge of the car was excellent and found him to be a very honest, genuine, diligent and easy to deal with.

Well worth the drive to Beccles to see the car, that we ended up buying! Ben was very helpful and honest through the whole experience. Car buying is a very stressful process, but it was made so much easier by Ben’s professional ways. Sold a faullty passat estate, told me before sending it there was an issue with driver assist but would fix it ( bracket ) it turned up a mess with all swirl marks and scratches on it, light on dash, faulty LED headlight, broken retractable parcel shelf and wanted me to drive over 5 hours back to him at my expense, I don't think so. His emails were aggressive, I contacted consumer advice who agreed with me, it should at least be at his expense. I gave him several options in order to resolve the issues but he refused all of them so now I'm going to have to take legal action.

I’ve ended up with a VW GOLF that sounds like a Tractor and needs a rebuild .

We pride our business on satisfaction and this personally upsets me that you are disappointed, however unfortunately we cannot supply you with a brand new car. We would be more than happy to investigate your concerns however minor or trivial they may be but unfortunately we will need the vehicle back to us, I have asked my legal advisor to step in and they have now made contact with yourself. (I'm aware they have already had to issue a warning because you have been swearing at one of their colleagues) This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Again I’m sorry you are disappointed with our service and product we provided.

Gave Ben several options to resolve, he was rude, aggressive and refused the options given to him. He got Lawgistics involved and dispite giving him a second chance he still didn't do anything. He sold me a car with dodgy brakes, don't believe this guys words about being sorry, he isn't, he just don't want to pay out for repairs when they need doing and then tries to make out other people are in the wrong.
