Please Stay well away from Northumbria Cars. Bunch of Cowboys. Bought a Vauxhall Astra through Finance and 3 Weeks the Engine Fxxked. Been on 3 Weeks trying to get the car Repaired but Refusing To Call Back. £14,000 For a Car thats only worth Scrap.

After spending a month hunting for a quashai +2, and being dissapointed in everything I found, I gave these a call, having bought my last car here. Friday tea time, word for word my call went: I don't want no sales patter, no blagging, I've spent a month having the p taken out of me and looking at ridiculous cars. I want a quashai +2 - here's the challenge for u though.... I want the top spec, its got to be newer than mine and I don't want to pay any more than X amount. Oh and I need X amount part ex for mine, I bought it from you. But also I do loads of motorway miles covering the North east, its in Nice condition but its 13yr old now. - I'm precise as ur probably telling from this review. They were up front and said I'll be honest it will be a very difficult challenge, I've only ever seen 2 in here. They don't even make them any more but If that's what you want, give me time and I'll see what I can do. But, If you don't mind... Can you let me know why it has to be that specific one?... Yeah look, I'm a Nissan girl, had them all my life. I've spent months looking and been pushed out of my comfort zone to look at zafiras Picassos S-max instead all month by other dealers... nothing meets the Nissan Quashqai +2 techna spec and what you get for your money. I test drove one at Nissan dealership... It was just way over my budget from them and knew you like a challenge... Aha! Well I'm glad I asked that then, because I have something you'll definitely want... No no, no let me stop u right there thats enough of that... Ur not listening, I said its a Nissan or nowt...I heard you Mrs D, How about an xtrail 7 seater techna? Wow! yeah I'd love one! Never be able to afford one, I did say monthly budget is £X amount.... OK, I will look at sourcing you a +2 if you don't like what I'm suggesting but trust me... Come up and take a look? We can even pick u up so your not wasting your fuel Or I'll call you back when I've found what your asking me for?... OK I'll come up in morning and bring mine back to you because I want X for mine.. No less. . Run me some numbers on the xtrail - but I'm not paying a penny more than what I've told you... We'll it's a much more expensive car, with many additional extras even from the quashqai u mentioned, but let's see what we can do. Next morning I drive the hour up. They took my Nissan to check it over and I test drove the Xtrail. It was above and beyond my expectation, I'd test drove a quashqai +2 at Nissan main dealer and it felt like a lump compared to this. They'd rose to the challenge. Got back and they said right XYZ is wrong with yours and I thought oh here we go, this is where they say so we're only guna be able to give u X for yours and that makes ours a little over your budget... But No. It was, there's XYZ wrong with yours, the X amount you asked us for is a little over what others wld pay... But OK, yes we will give you what you've asked. Do you want me to look for a quashqai +2 around your budget or we can do this for £x a month... What? £X a month...Zac beat my budget!! Challenge accepted, risen to and smashed. We exchange cars on Tues. That's got to be 100% best service ever! Now having read the last reviews... Ill let u all know with an honest second review of how it goes as must admit, my first purchase with them did have a niggle. They did fix it straight away though and they give warranty plus additional offer of extended warranty. My last purchase had an issue which I discovered was a Nissan recall - I cld have took it bk to Nissan but they sorted it straight away, gave me a courtesy car while they did and topped all my fluid levels and valeted it for me for free to boot while they done it. So up to now... I'm glad I chose them. For my 2nd purchase as do many others.

Service was spectacular up until I signed on the dotted line for a car that didn’t make it home before lights flashed up on the dash. Has been in the garage more than its been driven. Was sold as faulty and Is now my problem to pay 100s for repairs and have had all emails, messages and calls blanked. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Would recommend to anyone, very friendly and helpful place, managed to get a better deal for the money. Would definitely be coming back for another car
