Been driving and using the car (a large Volvo) for some time now with no problems, and we were also pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the price was, Would certainly recommend, thank you very much for everything.

PLEASE READ- I am not someone who ever leaves negative reviews but people need to be aware of this AWFUL place!! If I could give 0 stars, I would! Horrific experience from start to finish. Firstly, I bought a car from them 2 weeks ago and staff seemed friendly at the time. The brake discs and pads were worn down which we noticed on the MOT so they agreed to get them fixed before we picked the car up, as well agreeing to do an oil and filter change as it was needed. We were happy with their cooperation at this point. We then picked the car up a few days later, drove it 20 minutes home, and the engine light came on. We then rang the garage as it was under warranty and they told us to take it back in the morning (Friday) to be fixed, which we did. We had already previously mentioned that we needed the car for the weekend as we were going on a birthday trip to Cornwall. My dad also contacted them to raise his concerns as we were given no locking nut, spare wheel or emergency expanding foam. We collected the car Friday morning and they explained it was the MAF sensor which they had replaced and apologised for the inconvenience. We then set off on our journey to Cornwall. We stopped at a services 2 hours into the trip and again the engine light came on. We rang the garage straight away and they explained what to do if the car went into Limp mode. They asked us to bring it back to them once we returned home. We took it straight back to them once we returned home and they again ‘fixed it’. The next day, the same problem happened again as well as the engine oil light coming on, after they told us they had done a full oil and filter change. By this point, we are getting very annoyed that the garage kept saying they have fixed the problems but clearly not. We then have to return the car to the garage to be fixed, again, and the staff become less friendly and see us as a complete inconvenience. The car had to stay in the garage for 3 days without any contact from them, whatsoever. We had to keep calling them to see when our car would be ready as we couldn’t get to work or go anywhere without our car. We had to cancel plans, appointments and work. We were told someone would call us back, and they never did. On the third day, and still no contact from them, we called them in the morning and someone told us our car is ready to collect. As we arrived, the blonde lady manager greeted us with a very hostile attitude and told us that the Air Mass Sensor had now been replaced as that was broken aswell. We told the manager the car had already been in 4 times since we bought it less than 2 weeks ago but she didn’t seem to care about the inconvenience at all! We asked why the car keeps coming back in and nothing seems to actually get fixed and she assured us that this time they had replaced it with a genuine part, rather than a 2nd hand part. She was very unapologetic about the massive inconvenience this is having to our lives and didn’t seem to care about our custom at all. We then left the car garage and drove 20 minutes home, only for the light to come back on! We called the garage straight away and told them our frustration and was told to bring the car back and discuss with the manager. We then drove the car all the way back, to be greeted with a disgusting attitude from the same manager. We asked for compensation for all the fuel, time and inconvenience after taking the car back to the garage so many times, having to get someone to pick us up from their each time as well as all the things we had to now sort like insurance, car tax etc. We were then told, with attitude, that the car shouldn’t have been sold to us as it should have gone to trade. The manager was extremely rude and only offered a refund for the car without taking into account the huge impact this has had on our lives for 2 weeks. Time after time the car went back into the garage and they never seem to fix anything. Worst experience buying from them and never again. Friendly attitude when you buy the car, but very quickly change once you hand over the money. Complete con artist with no customer service skills, or common sense. Would never buy from them again, and would advise anyone else to stay clear. They offer warranty but have attitude when you call back about the faulty car they have sold you. Complete cowboys!

I intended to purchase a vehicle and had a detailed conversation with the company representative, explaining that I would need to secure a loan from a third-party source, which might take up to two weeks. I clarified this timeline and process, and the representative agreed, as long as I paid a £500 deposit. During the call in which I made the deposit payment, I explicitly asked if the deposit would be refunded in case the loan didn’t come through due to reasons beyond my control. The representative assured me that it would not be an issue. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the loan was not granted. I promptly informed the company, requesting the agreed-upon refund of the advance. In response, the company initially gave evasive answers, often lacking specifics, and ultimately refused to refund my deposit. I sent multiple emails, reiterating our original agreement and explaining the situation, but their responses continued to deny my request. Upon reviewing consumer protections on the Citizens Advice UK website, I found that I was legally entitled to a refund within 14 days under these conditions. I informed the company of this, but their responses only vaguely indicated that they were seeking legal advice, with no further communication unless I followed up. After several exchanges, the company stated that various reservation-related expenses—such as interest charges and advertising costs—were the reason for withholding my deposit. While I understand these operational expenses, they are typically covered in the vehicle's selling price rather than deducted from a refundable deposit. I even offered to leave £50 of the deposit and requested the remainder back. Subsequently, the company offered a partial refund of £300 as a one-time exception. For the sake of recovering part of my deposit and moving forward with another vehicle purchase, I accepted this proposal, though I felt the outcome was unsatisfactory. I found the handling of my case to be unprofessional and unfair, given the initial agreement and legal entitlements. This entire process, marked by delayed responses, anonymous email replies, and the company’s unwillingness to adhere to the initial verbal commitment, has left me with serious doubts about their professionalism.
