I have never before experienced a garage where the staff can stare at a screen and pretend not to see you even when you're standing in front of them. Shocking customer service all around. Staff walking around looking busy doing nothing A simple pre-booked job of 2 new tyres and 2 hours and not one person has cared to keep me updated or taken any genuine interest in chasing this up when asked. Awful and will not go back there again.

My car was booked in for a service with a fortnight between booking and service. New wiper blades were ordered at time of booking. For a start they didn’t even complete the service in a day despite me getting it to them by 8:30am. They never fitted the new wipers despite the girl confirming the service plus wipers when I took the car in and I am still awaiting wipers 4 weeks after the service! New brake pads and discs were fitted to the front but as I drove home I noticed a ‘binding’ noise.......! Fiat Assist had to come out and rectify something to do with the fitting of the pads etc that was catching the wheel I wish I had never dealt with them and definitely won’t again. I have been driving for 45 years and therefore had many cars serviced but never have I come across such an inept dealership. I recommend you do not have anything to do with them. July -September 2020

Bought a Fiat 500X from Stoneacre Peterborough. Pushy sales staff. Absolutely useless and uninterested service staff. Car has spent more time with them in the last four months than with us and still isn’t safe. Wish we’d read these reviews before buying there, avoid at all costs.
I booked my 08 Chrysler grand voyager in for a recall at Stoneacre Peterborough on the Newark Road for the ignition module on Thursday 3rd october 2019. As the module was completely dead I booked a recovery truck at my own expense and it was delivered on tuesday 1st october. By Friday morning I had heard nothing and rang the dealership (5 times throughout the day!). I had a different set of excuses: "I cannot find your car on the system": "we have a problem because we cant release the steering lock and have to strip down the underneath of the car": "The person you originally dealt with is busy with a customer" (4 X): "We might be able to fit you in next week but we are very busy": I have many years ago been a service manager at a main dealership and none of this is remotely acceptable. There is no recourse as you cannot get past the people on the front desk to find out the truth. The worst problem is that, to quote Monty Python, "they are making it up as they go along", I suggest they study another famous quote, "The truth will set you free". Of course the steering lock is on, the ignition module (key, rubber band, prayer) is not operating! I had assumed that even a backstreet garage that was burning used engine oil to keep warm would be able to figure that one out. Throughout all of this debacle all the phone calls, texts etc have been from me, not one from them to keep me informed. I AM THE PROVERBIAL MUSHROOM Unbelievable attitude from any garage let alone a main dealership. I suggest they change the business model to selling PPI claims........ Oh, hang on, that means you have to use a phone....! Paul.

In August 2018 I went in to order a new Fiat Tipo from Stoneacre Peterborough. Paid the deposit and sat back waiting for the call to say my car was in and ready. There was no phone call! 11 weeks later I called and they said the car still wasn’t in but should be in the next week, this was November. Again I waited to hear and called them again! The car was there! But by this time and close to December I told them I’d rather wait as they’d let me down til March for the new ‘19 plate! After a couple of painful calls they eventually refunded my deposit. So 18th March I went back to Fiat to again order my new Tipo, I had offers on CarWow and they said they would call me that afternoon to say if they could match the offer. Now it’s the 20th March and not heard a word. This dealership in my eyes is a total let down and I certainly won’t be going there again. I’ve dealt with other Fiat dealerships and had the best customer service. I have no idea how this one survives. Good luck if you want to go there!

My daughter purchased a new fiat 500 elsewhere as one before purchased at stoneacre Peterborough on Newwark Road, was nothing but trouble but new one developed a fault so we contacted fiat assist who were amazing they sent a mechanic out he said would need to go to nearest fiat dealer Stoneacre so will he was loading car onto trailer I phoned them under fiat assist you get courtesy car printed in black and white oh yes they said so car mechanic and daughter went to Peterborough when they got there Stoneacre told my daughter and the mechanic couldn’t even look at the car for a week and no they hadn’t got a courtesy car even through fiat told me they are supposed to use one of their own stock cars if nothing available so my daughter was stranded 25 miles from home unable to get to work for a week the mechanic kindly brought her home and ONLY thanks to fiat assist in Italy and the place the car was purchased from my daughter had a courtesy car in 2 hours and didn’t loose her job what did we get from stone are nothing no apology no gesture of goodwill they are useless hope they loose fiat dealership
I contacted Stoneacre's head office about purchasing a pre-reg Fiat 500 from the Peterborough Branch on Newark Road after I called their reception and never got a call back from a sales advisor plus I also requested a call back off their website, that was 2 days ago 30/01/2019 it's now 16:15 01/02/2019 and still no call back. It looks like the staff at the Peterborough branch of Stoneacre don't care about their customers, the car I want to purchase is still live on Auto Trader and their website, I wanted to wrap this up this weekend and give my wife a shiny new car but it looks like I have to go to Arnold Clark (I don't really want to shop at Arnold Clark) but Stoneacre just aren't interested so my search for a Fiat 500 continues.........

If i could give Stoneare Peterborough Neward Road 0 star i would. I bought a fiat 500 from them, they forgot to put the wheel nut key and log book and guess what flat tyre but couldn't sort out as no wheel nut key. Missed x mas and had to spend it on my own. Finally to car to a fiat dealership who i purchased the wheel nut key from and tyre sorted i never complained. August 2018 i decided i needed a bigger car. Went into dearlership saw a bmw which was advertised as having roughly 28 to 29 k mileage. I was made to travel 80miles each way for 2 weekends before deal was finalised. By the way mileage on collection was roughly 31k never complained. With 3 weeks of having car, dasboard service light comes on. Apparently i needed service, i was scared so i called the Newark branch immediately i was told on ignore that service was carried out before we sold you the car we need to reset dashboard. I was booked in. I drove down again 80miles total journey to petersbrough they couldn't reset dashboard i was asked to come back again as they need to boom vehicle in with bmw. Drives down again in october , bmw refuses to reset dashbaord because they found problems and needed to carryout service before resetting dashboard. I was told not to worry nothing was wrong with vehicle and so many promises and me constantly chasing for an answer finally today after 5 months they have managed to reset dashboard magically and guess what they have found some fault which would cost £900 in excess to repair. I have lodged a claim with small claims , trading standards, the motor ombudsmen and of course i refute the charges and he failed MoT on the ground they sold me a faulty vehicle. The last recorded service on this car is feb 14 2018 and i believe they have since not serviced it before they sold it to me. Stay away from this guys. I will be writting to rip off britain and newspapers. It is not fair they way they discard their errors and neglect their duties onces sales is made. I will be actively campaigning against them until this is sorted. I have given them 7 days to respond to my claim. This is Terrible!!!!!!!!..... Stay away.
