at first it seemed amazing good service professional ect… untill i had issues with the car they sold me. Not even a month into driving the car it had a full engine failure after 900 ish motorway miles this is where kevin (the owner) was extremely rude and snarky with us and telling us to go though their crap warranty company au that only covers £500 for a £5000 fix after telling Kevin this he cut communication with us still being very rude in the process and taking 0 liability for selling a dodgy car . 0/5 stars

& the [Factual] other side of this scenario is:
27Oct Mr Ali buys a 10 year old car with under 87k miles (accompanied by his parent/s) , it has ZERO FAULTS, and was only serviced 50 days earlier.
He declined to buy any warranty (advised by his parent) other than the very basic one that we give free of charge included in the sale price (it has a low claim limit - and Mr Ali got what he paid for ... Basic free cover of up to £500 )
Approx c.1000 Miles & 29 days later it breaks down - Warranty Company speak to Mr A who states car was Fine until 2 days earlier when something (a Turbo?) started making a noise. For the next two days he continued driving and the noise became progressively Louder , BUT rather than get it inspected by a Qualified Mechanic he continued driving it until the Engine Management Light/Battery light both illuminated. Not content with these warnings (!!) he continued to drive the car until something inside the engine went bang! Such a major internal failure had caused a projectile to pierce a hole through the Engine Casing !!
Mr ALI's failure to heed any of the previous warning that the car was giving him makes him ABSOLUTELY CULPABLE for the subsequent damage to his car, something that he wants to deflect onto anyone but himself.
He ludicrously claimed that the fault existed "when he bought the car", however had there been a hole in the engine casing then the car would not have been capable of driving 100 meters let alone 1000 Miles, so his claim was firmly rejected in a full and detailed LEGAL Final response, within which his options were clearly laid out in a way that any lawyer/judge/expert would easily understand.
Despite such a detailed response he repeatedly messaged this company with the same issue, seemingly hoping that he'd escape accountability for his FAILURE TO adequately heed the sound/lights warnings and his continued use was the sole cause of such major engine failure.
Please note, had Mr Ali had the "progressive noise" diagnosed when they first appeared then it's likely that a minor or cheap rectification might have been covered under his warranty, we'll never now know because the subsequent bang has removed any chance of such identification.
He made a mistake by ignoring warnings, so now he needs to suck up his judgement error, and deal with the aftermath of his negligence, and dare we say learn from this life lesson.
His claims that we've ignored him are false, all our communication has been professional, we've never cut communication, we've merely re-directed him to our 'final position' communication on each occasion he re-approached us.
This review needs to be seen against this backdrop. thank you for taking the time to read.

I recently part exchanged my car for another car which they had for sale, I presumed the car was listed higher as it said in bold everywhere (15 months warranty) but infact it doesn’t cover anything, I was driving on the way home, and I started to hear a knock, and a grinding noise I took it to my local garage, they advised it was the drop links this was changed it want that it was the lower suspension arm and the bush which is ripped and lots of movement which should have been an advisory as the very least on the MOT and also the front brake disks are fully corroded, I believe I was sold an unroadworthy car, not now have I only over paid for this car o am not more out of pocket and they are refusing to pay/contribute to the work needed, stay away.

Two sides to every story ...... here's ours …..
19/8 - Sitwell Garage Ltd (Bosch repairer) MOT’d vehicle, pass issued without any advisories.
20/8 - Cameron Test drove this immaculate A5 3.0L 2012 92,900 mile vehicle for approximately 10 Miles, accompanied by TCD employee & his friend (+1)
First of the test drive was along a local road that is notorious for it’s unevenness, this was deliberate and perfectly evidenced that there were no knocking noises of any kind. This was acknowledged by Cameron & his +1
Second Part of the Test drive was along the A52, and here Cameron ably Demonstrated his psuedo-aggressive ‘Boy Racer’ driving style (heavy foot, loads of speed/Accelaration etc)
He eulogised about our Audi A5 & proceeded to buy at £7750, but 'declined' to buy the upgraded warranty (yes we have his signed decision ). NB…We took his Astra GTC VRX as part exchange but he’d failed to mention that the battery was knackered ( it tested as very poor & it cost us £181 to replace)
Post Sale:
23/8 Craig Stone-Service Counts (local mechanic chosen by Cameron) diagnosed that the NSF drop link was ‘noisy’. So, (despite the Bosch MOT !) we paid for the ‘Drop link’ out of Goodwill 4 days after the sale.
3 weeks later on 10/9 Cameron sends us a video, (unknown garage) say the suspension arm is now noisy NOT the drop link that we’d replaced earlier. The video contains Cameron ‘disingenuous’ verbal summary that this latest suspension fault must have existed on 20/8 …. do behave Lad.
We advised Cameron of the correct route if he wanted to challenge the legitimacy of the MOT. We Ignored his threats to go to Trading Standards as we know they’ll just dismiss him.
Cameron has admitted that 23/8 Work was wrongly diagnosed - so we obviously wasted our £’s by using his chosen mechanic !
His claim that he “overpaid” is quite frankly Laughable, and merely shows a lack of knowledge, as of today there are two direct ‘model/mileage’ comparable listed on Autotrader FY62OMA 108k @£7595, & FR12WNV 94k @ £7995 (with damaged alloys!) & we contend that our vehicle was a much better example than both of these, and interests both were available to buy at the time - yet Cameron still chose to come and see ours instead.
Goodwill
We’ve evidenced this (despite the £181 battery cost) however Cameron’s communications have become more demanding & less reasonable, culminating in this assasination review.
Conclusion
The vehicle displayed none of the issues at date of sale, TCD suspect that the various potholes, road humps , multiplied by Camerons evidenced ‘Driving-Style’ will have caused the current issue on this 12 yr old car.

After a poor experience at another garage, this came as a breath of fresh air! Helpful but not pushy salesman, made purchasing the car an easy process, I picked it up the next day and I'm delighted with it, I didn't think I'd find such a good low mileage car, in great condition, thankyou.
