We were disappointed with our visit to Top Gear Car Sales. My husband phoned before hand to enquire about three cars (he mentioned we were driving a long way after work) he was helpful and informed us that one had been sold but we could come and look at the others that day. We were met by a different salesman who seemed completely uninterested in us (he didn't give us his name). When I asked if we could test drive the two cars he replied "Well, that depends" and when I questioned this response he explained that it depended on whether we were happy with the price he was willing to offer us for our car - not a good start! One of the cars didn't start at all (so they hadn't even checked that after we had called) and the other had a major fault with the brakes, was unsafe to drive, so the test drive was cut to 30 seconds long. He was rude and condescending, spoke down to me the whole time, and was argumentative with my husband. We will not be back, even for the perfect car, which I doubt they have!

I have just bought a car from Top Gear Car Sales. From start to finish I have been served by helpful friendly staff. The carvI chose was prepared and ready promptly. All paperwork was completed without any hassle. The car was presented in an excellent condition to drive away. When I realised there was no owner manual in the vehicle the company bent over backwards to get me one that same day. Obviously I have only just bought the vehicle so can’t really comment on that at this time except to say it appears to be everything I wanted and expected. I would recommend Top Gear.

Please NEVER buy from Top Gear Car Sales, they sell duff cars and are not man enough to fix them when they have problems!!! I was threatened when I called to get my car fixed by the owner (Paul) who we dealt with. Absolutely terrible service!! Please please please stay away!!

After trading a van in for a car, Top Gear Gillingham said they would handle all the paperwork. They failed to send my part of the registration documents off which resulted in my receiving a £100 fine from the DVLA. They didn’t even bother to return my call. Very poor service

Been buying cars from here for years and every one has been a gem. Any problems are sorted out straight away with no fuss but they have been minor. Would strongly recommend.

I have had a very positive experience with Top Gear Car Sales! I bought a BMW from them back in February and I haven't had any issues with it up to now. When I received it, it was lovely and clean and in great condition and the dealers talked me through everything and were really helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this dealership!

I travelled from Eastbourne to Gillingham to test drive a vehicle, having phoned ahead to check that this would be ok. When I got there, I was told that they didn't have enough staff available to get it out of the showroom. Having been told by e-mail that they would offer me between £2500 and £3000 trade in on my car, they only offered £2000 when I got there. They even tried to persuade me that the parcel shelf on the car I was interested in buying wasn't missing - Ford don't fit them to Fiestas except as an extra. I'm not sure I would believe anything they say.
