Sold my car to usedcar123 and I was very happy with the service. Good price and fast service. Would use again.
I would certainly recommend this dealership. I have had my Peugeot 207 for a while now and I ahve had no problems with it at all. The dealers at Used Car 123 were fantastic and the car is worth every penny.

Thanks for your review! Enjoy your car!
Having bought a car from used car 123, 2 years ago had no problems at all so when we decided to change the car again we went back, found a car we liked and agreed a deal . The after sales could do with improving, I was given the wrong mileage when I rang up to give to the finance company which caused some issues once that was sorted we collected the car which hadn't been valeted which was agreed at the point of sale, on the way home the brakes where horrendous I had to brake hard which caused vibration and the car to veer to the left, quite scary at 50 mph and my children in the car. Also a knocking noise on the rear. To be fair I called the garage back and was asked to return it and the faults would be corrected, new front discs and pads and two rear shock absorbers later at the dealers cost the car is back with me but still knocking from the rear. All in all the cars are cheap and not brand new but need checking over before they leave site. Unfortunately used car 123 won't be on top of my list when we change the car again but thanks for the swift and prompt repairs at your cost.
Please save your money and avoid buying from Used Car 123. They're very friendly when they first meet you and when they're trying to get your money. Once the sale has been made though they're unhelpful and arrogant. Very shady practices. Go somewhere reputable and avoid this dealership.

I'm sorry but as you have left no details I am unable to help! As we have no contact details for you I can only conclude that this is a fake review. Thanks, Nick
Terrible experience. These people are dishonest. Very arrogant people who think they are above any level of customer service. They must censor their reviews on other sites as the independent ones like google are full of negatives. They sold me a car for £7000.00 cash, a BMW Z4 VRM YD56WUP (for ref of the poor guy who buys it again). I pointed out a knocking sound to the rear of the vehicle prior to purchase and bought the car on the proviso that this knocking was sorted. On collection of the vehicle I was given receipts for work carried out by their garage and told the knocking was sorted by the fitting of a front suspension arm. I was also told I had a warranty that could be used at any VAT reg garage in the country. When I got the vehicle home the knocking was still present. When I rang them back they denied there was anything wrong with the vehicle and said it was a perfect example of a 10 year old car. Due to having already wasted time driving to view / purchase the vehicle and bought tax on it i decided to investigate the knocking myself and had an independent mechanic look for the issue. Within 30 seconds of hearing the noise he hypothesised the rear differential and confirmed this putting the vehicle on the ramps. He showed me the knocking coming from the unit which was a £2k job to replace. They will have known about this when they sold me it (as this mechanic knew so quickly) and hoped I would be fobbed off leaving me to foot the bill when the car inevitably lost all drive. When I asked them to find the fix of this at my local garage they refused and offered me a refund instead, knowing full well that this would leave me well out of pocket, not to mention cause me a massive waste of time in taking it back / roping a mate into coming down with me. They refused to fix it and left me no choice but to return it for a full refund. In addition when the mechanic investigated the diff issue I asked him to comment on the work they had apparently done as billed to themselves (in the invoices given to me on collection). Some of this work had not been done; for example a brake pipe which was apparently replaced at a parts and labour costs of over £100 was clearly not a new part at all but an old corroded one with copper grease over the top. In addition the tracking was WELL out when checked which it had not been on the test drive. They had clearly managed to mess this up too when doing who knows what to my new car. I have all this evidenced in videos, photos and email conversations. They still to this day maintain there was no issue with the vehicle, something undeniable by the evidence i hold. I hope the next buyer of this car reads this review and gets in touch with me as they are well aware of the bag of spanners they have sold you and are simply trying to palm it off without footing the bill themselves. In addition the levels of arrogance and lack of customer attentiveness after sales is shameful. You write them an email asking for advice / assistance and they give none, dont read the email in full and simply give you the ultimatum of either keep it / bring it back, knowing full well this is going to cost you. They ignore your concerns. Trading standards will be informed about Used Car 123...if anything in this review is false then they have my details...let them sue me!
Nick Constable from Used Car 123 (CLOSED DOWN) in response to Dishonest, arrogant and misleading
Thanks Paul for your lengthy essay as always! I do find it quite amusing as you seem to have taken offence to us offering you a full refund! i would also like to remind you that we also paid £43 in fuel costs to you that is above and beyond our requirements. You had the vehicle checked and so have we. We took the vehicle to an independent german car specialist who's response was "it's a 11, nearly 12 year old car with 1120,000 miles on" he continued "of course there will be wear and tear on mechanical parts". He then demonstrated to me what a Z4 needing a rear differential replacement actually sounded like and it is horrendous! Although he did mention that the parts to repair a failed differential were £80, and labour would bring the whole job to £249. He did confirm that the Z4 we are discussing needed no remedy apart from the tracking which has now been done. Tracking was not agreed by us as part of your deal. Lastly, after we refunded you the full amount plus costs you failed to return the documentation from the car to us. Instead you actually, quite comically in fact tried to hold the documents to ransom and asked me to collect them personally. I will leave this matter at a close as there is clearly no need to discuss this any further.
I was looking for a specific car. I have been looking for about 6 months. I needed an automatic Astra or focus or similar. I asked these guys to find something in my price bracket and call me when they had something suitable. A week later I get a call from Neil at 123 who tells me he has exactly what I am looking for. I arrange to view the car, and it is EXACTLY what I am looking for. I paid a deposit on the car and arranged to collect the car a couple of days later. I collect the car as arranged and it is ready on time, cleaned as I asked and it only took 15 minutes to complete the paperwork. These guys even helped me tax the car AND organised that I could pay monthly for my extended guarantee at interest free payments. I will certainly be back for my next car in a couple of years. THANKS TO THE GUYS AT 123. Do I get a referral cheque for new customers that I send to you? Thanks again.
Thanks used car 123 for a refreshing experience! I bought my car in December but due to a couple of reviews about after sales service, i have waited to review this dealership. I have now covered 4000 miles since purchase with only 1 small issue that was dealt with straight away by JO @ customer care. She did all the dealings with the garage as the alternator developed a fault. Nothing that used car 123 could have known about when i bought it! Happy to recommend them to anyone and on another positive they said they will pay me for referals. Thanks guys!
So i put a deposit on a vehicle sat 8/4 it was a birthday present. After trying to speak to the sales guy 3 times with no calls returned i finally speak to him to be told the car was sold to somebody else. I then went on to try to speak to a manager who as yet still has not returned my calls. They even had the cheek to say if the other person hasn't purchased the vehicle by the following morning i could buy it like i really wish to deal with a company that sell a car twice and dont return my calls. Avoid Used Car 123.

Hi Carl. As discussed yesterday with Jared, unfortunately we made an error (we are human after all) and took your deposit after the car was already sold. We sell up to 200 cars a month and do make the odd administrative error. We apologised and sent your deposit back straight away. If you can honestly say you have never made an honest mistake then you are a better man than me. For the record I have tried to call and welcome having a conversation with you. Regards, Nick.
I bought a Mitsubishi Outlander from Used Car 123 that on picking it up had a leaking radiator and blown turbo. As part of the sale they agreed to refurbish the wheels but on collection they were to a poor standard to the point of not even being removed from the axles to do. It also had its boot tidy missing which was later found in the valet area, The radiator and turbo were done under warranty but when i picked the car back up it had gained an oil leak from the prop shaft into the transfer box, located close to the changed turbo which in my opinion is more than a coincidence. This I was informed wasn't covered by the warranty so I had to get this fixed at my expense, not to mention the numerous times I had to take the car back for faults to be diagnosed has left a very bitter taste to dealing with them in the future. Oh and they ignore your emails when they tell you to email any problems to them like the ones I had experienced. Basically I advise anyone to go elsewhere as soon as they have your money they don't care about after sales.

Nick Constable from Used Car 123 (CLOSED DOWN) in response to Sold a cheap unchecked car- avoid
Mr Whittaker, Thanks for taking the time to leave your comments. In our opinion you have had a great level of service! We check all our cars but cannot foresee a turbo or radiator leaking once the vehicle is being used. We did however spend £940 on putting this right for you! I see that as great support with you not having to pay a penny towards! In relation to the wheels, we outsource our paintwork and actually offered to get the wheels refurbished again as you were not happy with the quality! What else can we do to make you happy? I am out of ideas I am afraid! You also mention a slight oil leak. For a 7 year old 4wd car with nearly 90'000 miles on, most people would expect reasonable wear and tear as the car is not new. If you would like to speak in more detail please don't hesitate to contact me!
Mike Whitaker in response to Sold a cheap unchecked car- avoid
Firstly the warranty company paid for the initial repairs done, not you, so please dont try to take credit for that. Secondly the car was returned twice for diagnosis and eventual repair, both times I asked if the wheels could be redone but you couldn't organise it correctly. Thirdly and what has angered me the most is to claim that it hasn't cost me a penny. I lost at least £200-£300 in lost wages as I had to bring it back in working hours of your garage 4 times in total. Not to mention fuel costs and organising lifts back and forth to collect. Finally, I did contact you about my buying experience at 123 used cars to which I was told to send an email about it, I never got a response to any emails I sent. Shame really because what initially felt like a relaxed buying experience turned out to be a shoddy one.
I bought a 2007 Toyota Auris from Used Car 123. I was told the car had undergone a series of checks as described on their website. But I was advised to buy their own extended worries just in case anything else went wrong. But a few months later the shock absorbers went and we discovered that they were severely corroded that the car collapsed on the wheels. Upon claiming my warranty I found out No One in southampton would accept their warranty because they are not very good at paying up. Usedcar123 advised me to pay upfront and then claim from them. I did so but afterwards they claim that I should have sent the quote before the car was repaired and now are refusing to pay up. I have complained to them and they have ignored me. I am taking the case to Trading Standards as I feel very shafted. I would recommend you go to a different retailer.
