I bought a diesel corsa from Walton Car Centre for my motorway commute down south. Whilst having the test drive there was excessive black smoke coming from exhaust. Salesman told me this was just because the car hadn't been driven for a while and the smoke would disappear, true to his word it did. I took the plunge as the deal he offered was very good and the whole experience was relaxed with no pressure sales on his behalf. Shortly afterwards I experienced grinding from front wheels when turning right. After several visits making arrangements to get the car car in for repair due to me working away, it was eventually repaired under warranty with replacement wheel bearings. I also had problems with the spare remote key draining batteries. Again after many visits the dealership, after exhausting all possible causes, replaced the key with a brand new one, again under warranty. Overall my experience of buying and after sales issues was very good and I would certainly consider buying from Walton Car Centre again. Would I recommend them, yes I would but if you do have issues afterwards then you must persist with getting them resolved, particularly before the 6 months warranty expires.
I bought a Ford Mondeo from Walton Car Centre back in April. When I went to collect the car it was very clean and as I expected. No problems with that. There is currently a small issue with the car but I am yet to take it in for them to have a look at it. The car was good value for money and I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family.
