Me and my sister ( two “young ladies” as the owner kept calling us, very condescending if you ask me) went to view a mini that I was willing to purchase, we spent a fair amount of time (1.5hrs) test driving a checking if this car was good enough, luckily we found out that there was a rough idle. during the test ride, Paul sugarcoated that it was a “fuzzy idle” so when I googled it nothing came up. When I thought I was going to buy the car and the official, legal documents came out, he said “rough idle” which I recognised as a bad thing, so I asked to call someone to see what it was about. After 10 minutes I come back and decide not to get the car because I was advised that it could potentially be an expensive fix. I tell him I will call in the morning once I have done more research into what that means. He tells me not to bother, he starts having a go at me telling me that I have wasted 2 hours of his time and that I should never come back, and telling me that I will never find a salesman so honest but he was so nasty that he made me cry. Which sound silly, but as two young girls it was very scary, a grown man being rude down the side of an alley. Before I decided against the car, he was condescending but overall we actually thought he was okay, he was very “honest” about not knowing certain things, which led us to believe that he was a good dealer. But he is honest about small things, to make you believe he is honest, then sugar coats big things, like a “fluffy idle” that he believed wouldn’t be a problem. Not to mention that he said he would be there at 4.30 and arrived at 5.30. I left this experience very upset, and i am a 17 year old looking for my fist car, so now I also feel like that experience of looking for a car has been ruined. In the moment I did not respond to his nastiness due to shock and fear but now I am truly mortified. Please do not buy from him, very unprofessional and nasty
