I collected a car from this dealer on 7th February. Unfortunately, the vehicle immediately developed a power steering failure. The dealer agreed to repair this at their own cost, which I appreciated. The repair process, however, took over a week and communication was quite difficult. Updates were only provided when we repeatedly contacted them, and there appeared to be internal miscommunication regarding when the vehicle was actually ready. As a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience, I was told the car would be ceramic coated and supplied with some fuel. Prior to delivery, I was informed the coating had not been completed due to time constraints. The car also arrived later than the stated delivery window and with no fuel. Around 30 minutes after delivery, the car overheated and redlined, which was extremely concerning. I requested a refund. While the dealer did arrange collection and issue a refund, the amount paid did not fully match what had been agreed, which was disappointing. Overall, although the situation was eventually resolved, the experience was stressful due to the repeated faults, delays, and communication issues. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience going forward.

Used vehicles can, on rare occasions, develop intermittent faults that are not present or detectable during pre-sale preparation. No dealer, however diligent, can guarantee that a used car will never experience an issue after sale. Repairs can sometimes depend on parts availability and specialist scheduling, which are not always within our immediate control. Once a refund was requested, we moved quickly to collect the vehicle and return your money. We're sorry if there was any confusion around the final amount — if you'd like to discuss the figures in more detail, we'd welcome the chance to do so privately. This was not the experience we want any customer to have. We've used your feedback to review our preparation processes, our communication procedures, and how we manage goodwill commitments. I had a great experience with the team. I'm satisfied with the car, but I must mention that while the car was perfect overall, there were some issues with the brake pads. Otherwise, I'm satisfied.

We found the Mercedes GLC through Autotrader and the chap we dealt with was pleasant. The service we received was satisfying; the car was absolutely spot on the test drive. Overall, I would give a 10 just because of how accommodating the staff were.
