I was shopping for a car and came across a Toyota Corolla 1.8 Petrol Hybrid. From the minute I showed interest Lee was there every step of the way. Not in a pushy sales way but supportive and even got me a better finance deal than I had originally been quoted. I had the car within 24 hours and it’s been great ever since. I’ll be going back there for my next car when the time comes!

What an incredible experience! I came across Oakwood Motors through a TikTok ad and, after struggling to get approved for finance elsewhere due to my poor credit history, I decided to give it one last try. I’d been turned down multiple times and was close to giving up, but then their advert popped up again on Facebook—and I thought, why not?
The application process was straightforward and hassle-free. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, just another rejection. But to my surprise, I got a call—not just an email or text, but an actual phone call from a real person at Oakwood’s recommended finance company. They asked me lots of questions, and I was upfront about my situation, including the fact that I’d recently retired—something that had been a deal-breaker with other companies. But not this time. They listened, and they approved me with a £7,000 budget to choose my car.
I already had my eye on a Mercedes C250 CDI Coupe AMG Line listed on Oakwood’s site. The photos showed it in need of some TLC, but Steve, the salesman, reassured me that it would be fully prepared before delivery—and he meant it. The car was in prep for several days, during which they carried out a ton of mechanical work, replaced multiple parts, refurbished all the wheels, took care of any scratches, and gave it a full detailed valet. The result? The car looked and drove like brand new when I picked it up on Good Friday. Not a single age-related blemish in sight—it was absolutely mint.
My handover with Lee was fantastic, and the communication throughout the entire process was smooth, friendly, and professional. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. Highly, highly recommended!

I bought a vehicle that I couldn't test drive, so I trusted the sales man word on the vehicle, and the car arrived with missing features that were advertised, by the sales person.
I then had to pay the delivery back of the car even though it was not my fault the car spec was not corect and after returning the vehicle they were really slow at canceling my finance and dealing with the situation causing even more issues

Excellent from start to finish. Liam was so helpful and efficient. Drove away with a car I viewed in the morning to it being ready in the afternoon. It was cleaned and ready to go. The showroom was busy and friendly other salesmen taking the time to welcome me and my son. Lady on reception asking how everything was going and offering me coffee as soon as I walked in. I would recommend to anyone and thank you Liam for taking the time to make sure everything went smoothly and efficiently.
