We dealt with Max. The transaction was very straightforward, just how we like it. The car was beautifully details (it smelt brand new). The price was good and Max was very clear about there being no room to haggle. We tried, we failed, we didn't care the car was worth every penny we paid for it. Purchased a Range Rover evoque from affordable cars last week. This is my 5th car in the last 5 years. Believe me this is the place if you want the ultimate in customer experience. I would recommend this company to anyone. I would take the negative reviews as sour grapes, and unfortunately you can't please everyone! But I've certainly been impressed with the way I've been treated by this company!

Bought a car from this dealer early this year. Had a couple issues with the key and the way the car was sold. Make sure you don't take the staffs word for things in the car and double check everything before buying. Staff were very arrogant when I called them to discuss. Would never buy from here again, terrible service. They were agressive and rude, could have been a lot more gentle/understanding in their approach to my concerns.

very rude manager.......i had an audi tt to part exchange and the manager told me he had problems with this model tt and gave me a part ex price of £6000 as all he could do with it was to send it to auction when in fact he advertised it on his website for £7750 .......very rude.

I bought a Hyundai i20 in York in September 2015 for £4,700 + recommended £200 for two year warranty. I was told that the car was in good condition apart from the air conditioning which was not working but just need to be recharged come the spring. I was told this would cost around £40. It turned out that the reason it did not work was because of a leak in the condenser, leaving me with a bill for over £200. Needless to say, this was ot covered by the recommended warranty. Not only that, but the garage that replaced the condenser told me that it was actually bad for the engine to drive without this functioning properly. Anyway, my point is that Affordable Cars must have known the reason why the air conditioning was not working properly. They could probably have got it repaired themselves chaper that I could. The whole thing just seems like a really cheapskate way to go about their business. Apart from the airconditioning, the only problem I had was with the brakes, which needed a complete overhall when I brought the car for its MOT, a year, and 6,000 miles after purchase.
