I had a really pleasant time buying from this place. I was being looked after by Craig. Who is a really nice and friendly chap. He made my experience an easy one. If anyone is looking for a new vehicle and want somebody who you can trust. Ask for this man 👍🏻 I’ll be back in years to come when I’m ready for my next vehicle

Purchased car in November 2016 reg 55k on clock. Appointment arranged to collect car. 20mins late to collect from train station. Hour wait in showroom till someone was ready to sort paperwork. 3 months in in car screen broke then 6 months in steering rack required replacement after only 2,000 miles also needed 2 front tyres. 6 months in car has been in the garage for a total of 7 weeks. Had to use a local rac warranty garage for repairs as car base would not return calls. Lucky i paid the extra for a warranty as car has already needed £3000 worth of repairs. They push you to leave a review as soon as you leave the showroom calling several times a day. This would explain the high reviews as people are leaving reviews within only days of having the car. Will never use carbase or recommended them

Carbase were incredibly happy to sell me the car however convinced me to buy gap insurance (even though I didn't require it as I purchased the car in cash), after realising I didn't need the gap insurance I phoned to cancel and Carbase ensured that they would. One month later I find out Carbase actually set up 3 years worth of gap insurance without notifying me. I have spent hours and hours on hold to Carbase and wouldn't buy from then again.

Sales person was very helpful and honest while I was trying to purchase a car remotely. Very simple process, car was prepared well and all questions quickly sorted on the day. Doesn't get the 5 stars because of the mandatory £179 admin fee which isn't reflected in the advertised price. The car was still the cheapest around and came with break down cover so no big deal.
