Spent £29k and they had they nerve to say they don’t valet the car because I wasn’t buying a new car. Parts missing, key not working. Tyre losing pressure 5 minutes after collection. It wasn’t worth it at all. Could have at least cleaned the car

I booked a day off work to travel 77 miles to view a vehicle ( VW Golf GTD - £9990 ) with false advertising ( BHP incorrect as the car has been remapped without paperwork). Upon arrival i was told i have 2 whole minutes to look and inspect a vehicle im buying worth £10,000. Very pressured. I would not waste your time travelling or even be interested with this garage. The vehicle i was going to purchase was due for cambelt and waterpump change as per manufactures guidelines due to year of vehicle or mileage. I advised the salesman of this and advised if i purchase the car i would have to spend £400 for the above parts to be changed. He was not prepared to reduce or even get this work done with a very unfriendly attitude after i advised this. But If so works completed i would of purchased the vehicle. I was then told the car was remapped which was not advised on Advert. If i knew this i wouldnt of travelled or been interested in this vehicle, along with the remap work having no paperwork or proof of this. Very little service history or paperwork for a 5 year old vehicle worth £10,000. Be very wary of this Garage. Customers with very little confidence or knowledge in cars would have been pressured to buy this car and it would of been your biggest mistake. Please be wary if going to purchase from this shambles of a garage. What a waste of time, fuel and £10 for HPI check.

I came across Synergy Car Centre on Autotrader. The dealer was knowledgeable and helpful, also the Volkswagen Golf I purchased of them was good value for money. I had no issues and would recommend this dealership!
