Bought BMW 520D excellent looking car, could of given a better deal on part exchange but, so be it. Didn't have locking nuts on as described. had buy my own. Valeting was basic standard. Had to clean stains of the seats and cockpit area. (where's my Covid 19 standard clean ???).. Apart from that the cars are great on forecourt by really do give them a good looking over before making a decision looks and be deceiving. small dents covered over, no spare wheel, no locking nuts are described, not fully valeted, etc.. simply take your time and look. the small thing do matter as well, cars are not cheep these days to the common working family

I purchased a Mercedes SLK on 24.6.20, before we arrived I specifically asked if there was a temporary spare wheel or the compressor that blows your tyre up included in the car, to which I was told yes one or the other was present but didn’t specify which. My husband and I viewed and subsequently purchased the car, not checking if the spare wheel or compressor was in the compartment underneath the boot. Getting home we then had a good look at the car and guess what there is no spare wheel or compressor, I rang to ask to ask if it was still at the showroom, but the sales person Andy who served us wasn’t there, he didn’t contact us as promised. To me a mere woman it seems Andy didn’t know anything about the car he was selling, not awfully chuffed to have a basic thing missing from a 41/2 yr old car, and being told it was included. Andy also gave the impression he didn’t give a dam if we purchased the car or not, get a grip Andy this is your job.

We drove 50 minutes after work to view a Mercedes we had seen on their website, had to stop and get a McDonald’s first from round the corner as we had not eaten yet, we pulled up at the dealer to eat it before viewing the car, the owner then came out and asked us to move on. we moved our car and pulled over a little further down the road to finish the food before taking custom elsewhere, but the owner clearly has emotional issues because he followed us down the road and arrogantly asked us to move again. In no way were we blocking the road, I would avoid this man if I were you definitely has a form of small man syndrome!

Tyre had to be inflated for my test drive. assured it would be fixed for pick up, sadly not. Just inflated again. Several days later workshop replaced a faulty valve but not the locking wheel nut. I complained, was told it must have been stolen! I am sole driver or its locked!!

This is the second time I’ve purchased a car from Affordable Cars, the first, a little over a year ago was a Mercedes Benz E-Class 250 CLC convertible, the second a Porsche Cayenne GTS. Both times the service has been impeccable, the quality and price of the cars market leading. Overall I have no hesitation in recommended them and I will almost certainly be back in the near future. Fab experience. Writing this review in case it helps a prospective buyer who wishes to deal with Affordable cars. Paul and Patrick has been great from the start, we purchased our C220 Coupe and all paperwork and condition of the car is perfect. Very straightforward and kept us in the loop all the way. Sceptical at start as we were buying the car without seeing it. Was delivered to us and happy with it in every way. Thanks for everything. Keep up the good work.

I absolutely love the car I got from Affordable Cars York, The only downside was the journey 4hrs , lovely set up professional , only a couple of quibbles over information which I should of noted myself regarding the admin fee and reservation fee 48 hrs which wouldn’t have put me off from buying then or in the future .. sales chap filled in all the paperwork and even had a charger for my phone .. still smiling :)
