Covered scratches Had a car 4 months after 4 weeks the inlet system went now I have that many problems with my Mercedes it’s worthless do not buy from Affordable Cars Group.

Dean at Affordable Cars York was very helpful and friendly. We test drove the car we wanted to see without a prior appointment and this wasn't a problem at all. There was no hard sell and we were given a little bit extra trade in for our old car because it was in good condition. Dean accompanied us to the post office to get the tax for the new car and spent a little time showing us round the controls and even connected my phone to it! Very happy with the service we received. And a little added extra, our old car is still in the compound 2 weeks later. Even though we were well over due for a newer vehicle, seeing our old Renault Megane touched our hearts ;-).

I cannot say enough good things about Affordable Cars and the lads that work there. The whole experience, from the minute we arrived to view a car we'd seen on Autotrader, was 5 star. No one bothers you. They let you look round at your own leisure, yet they're there straight away if you've got any questions. Ryan arranged for me to test drive the car I liked, and even then, he didn't put any pressure on me to buy the car. This totally reassured me, that Affordable Cars are a trustworthy garage. When I went to pickup the car, Ryan had sorted all of the paperwork out, even though he wasn't in that day. Patrick took over, patiently talking me through how everything worked on the car. It was such a smooth process. I absolutely love my new car (an orange BMW Z4 M Sport) and when I'm ready for a new car, I will definitely be going back to Affordable Cars. I cannot remember ever enjoying buying a car, like I did dealing with Affordable Cars. I highly recommend them.  

Having seen the car I wanted online I travelled some 500 miles to view car and purchase after speaking with deen about the car before travelling. I was so impressed with how welcoming polite all the staff were upon arrival. Quick and easy experience felt like being amongst old friends other than a car sale. I love my new dream car. Where to start with Affordable Cars York........... Me and my partner had purposely visited this dealership to look at two specific cars we found on their website. With absolutely every intention of buying a car we therefore unfortunately received not so great customer service, wether the sales person was having a bad or whatever we were left bemused by his lack of enthusiasm, he was rude, arrogant and quite frankly didn’t seem all that bothered about selling us a car (even though we mentioned “if the figures are right we want this car subject to finance acceptance etc etc”). We then decided to leave and take our custom elsewhere after voicing our unsatisfying experience, at this point the owner/dealer principle then approached us in a very hostile manor. He squared upto me infront of customers in the showroom and asked me to leave, which I did. He then followed me to my car and threatened me in front of my partner, we then left. An hour later we received a very disappointing phone call, this phone call was filled with threats of violence towards me and my partner. He then continued with his threats saying he would “find me” and so on. This incident has been reported to the North Yorkshire Police and have been provided with the recorded threatening telephone conversation from said individual. We want to make people aware that this company should you visit them and give them any sort of criticism, they WILL threaten you, they will harass you and the WILL try and scare you. Do not let him intimidate you and please read other reviews as it is obvious this isnt he first time he has done this. Kindest regards, Fat Slug.
