Stumbled across this dealership by accident and couldn't have been more lucky! After writing off my car I was just looking for something basic to replace it with! Alex and Lewis were so good, no pressure from them at all! I was able to test drive the car and put a small deposit down while I went away to sort out my insurance. Never did I feel that if I changed my mind it would have been a problem. They were patient and informative and made me feel very welcome! All my options were explained to me, tax, additional breakdown etc. I was happy to buy my car from them, and left feeling very satisfied! Top lads :)

Really professional and friendly! Gave me a great deal on my old car and helped me pick a new one! Made sure everything was great when I set off gave it a proper service and MOT!
Better value cars welcomed me and was very attentive to my needs as a customer. They offered me a coffee and listened to my requirements. They also gave me a new MOT, valeted the car to a really good standard and the next day I drove off in my C4 picasso, an excellent family car! They have a good range of cars and their after sale customer service is impeccable, they look after you. Overall an excellent experience!
I purchased a Vauxhall Corsa from here back in August. The dealers were helpful and friendly and able to answer any questions and up to now the cars running fine, I have had no issues with it at all and it was a good price. I would recommend.

Alex was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. I'd looked for an Alfa Romeo Giulietta on autotrader and found that the perfect black one, in brilliant condition with low miles and good spec was just around the corner at Better Vale Cars, the price was very competitive and it was clear when I met Alex that they always use their best price in the advert as there was no pressure sell. Alex let me have a test drive that was convenient for me and my husband and was non-intrusive while me and my husband popped in a couple of times to look at the car in more detail. What I liked was that he let us walk away and take our time in our decision, which meant we made a quicker decision! He made sure the car was in perfect condition with new tyres, attention to detail on a few snags and valeted it an hour before I arrived to collect, they even picked me up from town as I was car-less that day! I found Lewis and his team to be very courteous and helpful and he did everything I asked to get the Mini Cooper in super clean condition for my daughter. It was serviced to mileage and is a really good example at a very fair price. I was surprised to see negative comments on this site and can only assume that Better Value have really upped their game since these were posted. I'd certainly deal with them again.
Cannot fault the service that I have received from the guys at Better Value Cars. They were faultless from start to finish and were extremely helpful and knowledgable when it came to answering queries. There was no pressure when it comes to the sales side of things and I felt comfortable from start to finish. Furthermore when it came to part exchanging my old car they offered me an extremely competitive price. Overall would highly recommend this garage if you are looking for a high quality and competitively priced car and excellent service!
I found the perfect car for me at this dealership. It was having an oil part fitted/repaired when I went to the showroom but the guys took me to see the car there and then so that I could check the size and feel of it (both very important as I had to see if my teenage son would fit in the back...). That was Saturday. I went for a test drive on the Monday - the car had a 'knock' noise. Lewis got in the car with me and agree it was something like the suspension. For a fully refundable £100 deposit (all clearly written on my receipt) they got the 'knock' sorted. They had actually rushed the car back from the garage without having the MOT done (I heard him talking to the garage on the phone as we drove back). So, next day the knock was gone, 12 months MOT and it was all ready to go. Very happy so far - and half 6 months warranty etc - Very happy on the whole. Would definitely recommend.
**Not usually the type to write reviews.** "The horror that besieged me" starring Better Value Cars. The sun have called it the worst thing since selfies became an epidemic. After seeing a a post from the company on Auto Trader I travelled from London to Cardiff. I purchased a car from this dealership a 57 plate smart car on the 17th of September 2015. Looked good. When driving the car I did think that the breaks were quite light although assumed that it was due to being on gravel. I asked to see the log book and was informed that they had left it in the garage and shall post it ti me as soon as they find it. With MOT and road tax I then set off back to London and while speeding I was still concerned about the breaks. When I got home my sister made the simple online check to see if it was MOT'd to my horror it was not. I took the car to a quick fit the next week to discover there was no MOT at all to my horror which meant the car is not drive-able. I went straight to the post office to SORN it to find that the car had been registered to a different set of license plate numbers without informing me. Another problem. So no MOT, wrong license plate numbers. Can it get worse? i hear you ask. Well it can. Today (August) nearly 10 months later I get a letter in the post informing me the car still registered in my name with no TAX (when it should be SORN'd )off the road's has been photographed being driven around Cardiff and I have a 85GBP fine to pay which could rise. I do not know how this ends. Although I shall keep you updated. I would be more than happy to discuss my experience in detail with anyone. The end. Please call me ASAP on 07723530880 I think we can both help each other hear , the previous owner of the smart had left a private number plate registered to the smart and I had no idea , we have finally sorted this and I was desperately trying to find who the car was registered to so I could obtain the documents and it's you I'm actually over the moon you've left the review its helped us both ( you could of just rung ) call me ASAP please

Iv had many customers read this review and it has put them off buying from us , The gentleman will agree with me that this has now been rectified , Manuel has informed me he has contacted car dealer reviews for this review to be removed and nothing seems to have been done about it , we are a dealership that takes pride in customer service !
